Uptown Ballet Academy Reviews
Both our children have been attending classes at Uptown Ballet Academy for nearly 8 years! My son started in ballet and then moved on to a contemporary class that made him feel excited about dance at a new level. At the time the class was a group of about 6 boys who went on to dance together for several years. JR is the most dedicated dance instructor. The kids admire, respect and enjoy his classes. They come home excited and energized. For my son who was never interested in team sports, dance has been a vehicle by which he has built up his confidence and has discovered his own strengths and talents. My daughter started dancing at Uptown Ballet at age 4, has just turned 9 and has studied with both Jackie and JR. Her excitement about dance and movement is unparalleled. She excitedly shows us what they’re learning in class. And the most wonderful thing is when my son and daughter bond about what they’re learning, and my son gets to “advise” her (as he is 3 years ahead:)Uptown Ballet Academy is clearly committed to nurturing a true appreciation of dance - in many forms - in young people, and is inclusive of all dancers at all levels. One of the most exciting aspects of having been part of this dance community is not only witnessing the progress and growth of our children, but all of the Uptown dancers.

Her father and I are both dancers and were ecstatic to see how much she learned in her very first semester. Our little dancer is thriving. Thank you Uptown Ballet Academy.
Jan 24, 2023 · Cherilyn GarciaI have three daughters who have taken ballet with Miss Jackie for 4 years now. Each one of them loves Miss Jackie and ballet. She creates such a warm environment for them to learn in. My girls have all made such good friends in their ballet classes thanks to the intimate nature of the classes. I always enjoy the parent-observation class, and I am always impressed at the age-appropriate ways she fosters dance skills at each level. We feel so lucky that such an amazing dance program is here in our neighborhood!
