May 30, 2017 · Heather MaherNext Step Broadway is the greatest studio in Jersey City. Students have fun and they get so many opportunities to learn multiple styles of dance. The triple threats team is wonderful and perform at so many places that helps get their name out there. They do competitions and conventions and have performed at a Knicks game, a New Jersey Devils game, 3 Mets games, and multiple events around Jersey City. The recitals are entertaining and the staff is professional and welcoming.
Sep 01, 2019 · Naomi GaynerAs a Triple Threat at Next Step Broadway, I have learned as many life lessons as I have choreography. Throughout my years at Next Step Broadway, I have made lifelong friends and mentors, while continuously learning how to push myself and the others around me. My teachers have taught me the importance of having a passion for everything you do, and they implement that lesson with the way they teach us and treat us like their own children. If you have the option to bring your children to Next Step Broadway, I strongly recommend for you to do so.
May 15, 2020 · Iman AlexanderFor little kids, a dance class should be to get out energy and learn what acting like a ballerina is like. I danced most of my life growing up and teachers have always dressed in leotards and appropriate ballet warm up gear. At NSB, My 3 year old daughter’s class sat most of the class as students would go one by one doing an activity for a 45-min class. They even had them one-by-one bounce on a trampoline. The receptionist was nice but unprofessional having some kind of serious discussion with her boyfriend on the phone.
Jan 25, 2019 · k. Rox KeiblerIf I could give 100 stars to Next Step Broadway, I would. Before deciding on NSB, we tried a few of the other local programs a well-known Manhattan program. Comparing all, I can say with confidence that NSB was by far, the best choice for us for the past 6 years.I can’t say enough about this program. From the owner, Morgan, who is amazing and supportive, to Keisa, who is just a powerhouse, an inspiration and mentor, to all of the teachers and staff (many of whom, including Morgan and Keisa, are former Rockettes) who create a rigorous, yet collegial environment for expression, this program is top notch. The best part is not that the students who wish to will be prepared for any profession program (which many former students have gone on to do). What’s most impressive to me is that NSB has become an extension of our village, supporting the important life lessons that matter to us. At NSB, my daughter and others learn that perfecting your craft and even winning national championships, (as the Triple Threats do) is important, but it’s also important to show respect for yourself, your art and others, and that it’s possible to be the best, be a serious dancer and still be kind and have fun and maybe make some lifelong friends along the way.
