Terpsichora Ballet School (TBS) Reviews
I love coming to Ms. Liezl’s classes. She teaches the Vaganova syllabus with a strict but caring style, and her passion and enthusiasm keeps the classes fun. Her classes are small and she is attentive to every student with her corrections. For adults she offers weekend workshops, pointe, and beginner and intermediate/advanced drop-in classes all of which are really helping me improve my strength, technique and confidence. There are also adult intensives which are really fun with a mix of ballet and contemporary styles. There’s a great sense of community among the students and the studio is clean and in a convenient location. It’s a fantastic school whether you’re an absolute beginner or more advanced dancer.
Jun 02, 2025 · Debbie WongI absolutely adore Liezl's classes!! They are the highlight of my week! Liezl is such a talented teacher and so supportive of her students.I started with the adult level 1 workshop and did that a couple of times and then added the level 2 workshop as well. I can see my skills progressing, and I have so much fun in Liezl's class. Everyone is really nice and I've made friends in the classes. If you're an adult beginner, I cannot recommend the workshop classes enough!! They are truly wonderful. Thank you so much Liezl!!
Feb 01, 2025 · Madeleine MAbsolutely lovely class and studio. I was visiting from out of town and looking for a drop-in beginner class to take, and I'm so glad I chose Terpsichora! Ms Liezl is so welcoming - she greeted me by name right as I came in! The class was amazing, right at my level and with lots of repetition so we could really perfect each exercise. Ms Liezl creates a friendly atmosphere while also being technically demanding and giving great corrections. I only wish my trip were longer so I could attend more classes! Highly recommended by this adult beginner.
Sep 09, 2024 · Annie MeyersWonderful studio. Ms Liezl is an exceptional teacher with an incredible qualifications. She teaches the most elite method of ballet in the world in a manner that is effective and accessible for anyone.
Mar 26, 2025 · Danielle San PaoloThe instructors here, Liezl and Monique, are fantastic, warm and welcoming. However, if you have to interact with the owner Joe, God help you. We got kicked out of a studio our daughter loved over a minor misunderstanding of their payment system. I hope others have a better experience than us.
