My daughters have grown in their dance skills, discipline, and love of performing. Ms. KK is a gem!!!Practice leotard standard uniforms mean everyone can focus on dancing instead of what to wear, and I appreciate that recital costumes are modest and age appropriate. The recital last year for Alice in Wonderland felt like being at a broadway performance. It was simply incredible…absolutely breathtaking.Rvda is a wonderful, inclusive place where boys and girls, people of differing abilities & ages are welcomed into the world of dance. We feel very grateful for this dance studio!
Sep 27, 2023 · Rebecca WilletteI have two daughters at RVDA starting all the way back in late 2004. My oldest in particular has gained significant confidence by being part of their program and my youngest can pretty much be called the studio mascot. They offer both recreational classes and a more serious team dance program so they have something for everyone. They also have begun offering adult classes! BTW, I can't review them without pointing out their adaptive dance program which pairs up traditional dances with kids that have special needs to provide them an opportunity to share in the world of dance. This is optional and there is a waiting list of children wanting to be part of that program! The team environment and quality of the classes are simply amazing. They partner up all the younger members on the team with an "older sister" that truly cares for and supports the younger members. They are focused on both student and parent responsibility which has been a great growth opportunity for my children as well as myself. We have the greatest respect for the owner as well as the many passionate instructors and mentors at the studio. I've watched year after year of seniors graduating and crying as they dance their final senior dance. I look forward to seeing my daughters both complete their teenage dance career at the single best dance studio in the west metro.
May 19, 2014 · John B FraserWonderful studio! My son loves going to dance every single time and is only adding more and more classes to our already packed schedule. Boys are treated equally as students rather than after thoughts as happens so many places. Highly recommend!
May 25, 2021 · Mark RGreat staff...the owner, Jocelyn, truly loves to see that every child reaches their full potential while dancing at RVDA...yet still makes sure they have a lot of fun learning. The teachers are amazing and follow through with Jocelyn's method of teaching, while being allowed to each bring their own style to the dances they choreograph.
Dec 08, 2019 · Kat HMy first year was here was one of the greatest joys of my life, all the teachers are super nice and made it really easy to fit in. They helped me grow in theater so much more than in any other class I had taken, I can't wait to come back next year!
