Dance Arts Centre Reviews
We feel so lucky to be part of the Dance Arts Centre family! From the moment we joined, we were welcomed with open arms—by the staff, the teachers, and the community of families. The environment is incredibly supportive, and it's clear how much the dancers respect their teachers. There's such a healthy balance of discipline and joy: the instructors know how to push the kids to grow and improve, while still making every class and performance fun and full of memories. The communication and organization from the studio are top-notch. As a parent, I always feel informed and supported, whether it's during a busy competition weekend or class with my littles. With kids across multiple age groups, we've had the joy of experiencing both the recreational and competitive sides of the studio, and both are run with so much heart and intention. The opportunities DAC provides are truly amazing—private lessons, master classes, acro, Dads & Dancers, and more. There is something for everyone, and every dancer is encouraged to find their passion and go for it.Thank you to the entire DAC staff for creating a space that builds not just beautiful dancers, but confident, kind kids. We’re so grateful to be part of it!
Jun 26, 2025 · Sydney GertenDance teachers and assistant coaches:* * * * * 5 starsMy opinion goes down from there. I really feel cheated out of money from this giant advertisement. But I can honestly say that I didn't get that impression from the other dance parent's. I also have nothing to compare it to. I did find less expensive and transparent studios that we are trying out in the fall.Edit: I changed my review because I was told I was being charged $5 for a used pair of shoes but was actually charged $12.Original review was 3 stars: Our daughter loves to dance and looks forward to going every week, but I feel we pay more than we receive with this company. Paying a flat rate and classes being canceled on their end is very upsetting. I don't enjoy paying for services that aren't received. Last month we paid full amount for one class because they went on spring break.
Jun 12, 2025 · DanylMy daughter has been dancing at DAC since 2017. She absolutely loves it and all the teachers are great! We look forward to many more years! During COVID, DAC has found ways to keep the kiddos dancing whether it’s via zoom or in the studio! Although there are not a lot of large gatherings still happening, finding ways to celebrate and have fun is there! This year we did trunk or treat as a studio and it turned out amazing! This season, they have added ACRO classes which has been wonderful for my daughter! Thank you for all the effort you put into making dance happen for all our kids!
Dec 05, 2021 · Betsy DonaldsonI cannot say enough great things about our experience at Dance Arts Centre. We have a daughter in her eighth year at the studio, 5th year on a team and twin girls who are in their second year on team and 5th year at the studio, and we could not be happier!! They not only teach your children how to dance, they also lift them up and encourage them as individuals to be the best people that they can be. They encourage their students to live their lives with the motto "character first." It is not just something they say, it is something that they work hard to achieve and instill in each dancer that walks through their doors. I feel very blessed that my daughters have these amazing teachers to look up to as role models. If you are looking for a dance studio to teach your child to dance while helping them grow in Character and grace, look no further, you have found that place in DAC!!!
Dec 05, 2021 · Jessica FlosiI highly recommend DAC for anyone considering dance for recreation, for competition, and most of all, for fun! I’ve watched my daughter grow in her independence, confidence, and skill with the DAC teachers and teammates guiding and supporting all along the way. She had to be coaxed on stage for her first recital as a three year old, and since then (5+ years later!) we haven’t been able or wanted to get her off. She truly loves being a part of this DAC team! THANK YOU DAC!💓
