Minneapolis Salsa Bachata Dance Reviews
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY WON'T STOP CHARGING YOUR CARD.I've never written a negative Google review in my life, but I guess there's a first for everything.I attended classes here for a while, but road construction made it difficult to fit classes into my schedule. I requested to pause my membership in-person, intending to return once the construction subsided. The employee told me I would need to cancel online. I tried doing so, but the option to cancel wouldn't work (what a coincidence 🙄). I tried contacting the business over text, where they had previously been very responsive. They took OVER 3 WEEKS to respond. In the meantime, they continued to pull payments and I had to completely cancel my debit card to get it to stop. They still tried pulling payments even after that.EDIT: since the business decided to lie and send a childish response1: You did not give me the option to cancel my membership until 3 weeks after I requested to pause it. I tried through the means you gave me, which didn't work and you refused to return my communication through other means. You only ever responded as a result of me submitting a dispute, which your behavior shows was quite warranted! What kind of person would leave their card open when a business that refuses to communicate continues to charge them?2: I initially only requested to pause my membership, as construction was preventing me from getting to class. A more mature person would've honored this request so you could continue receiving legitimate business in the future.3: What I agreed to was paying a month upfront and "weekly payments, cancel anytime" after. Your own logic doesn't even make any sense. You process your payments in advance. If I wanted to pause my membership, why would I be on the hook for 4 more payments after like you just said?4: Very convenient that you left out that the dispute was done via debit card and it is extremely difficult for victims to get a ruling in their favor compared to a credit card. Even then, I probably could've changed the outcome had I continued communicating with the fraud department after the initial dispute.5: It's extremely telling you'd be surprised at someone taking the time to warn others about your practices. Some of us have morals that we try to live by.
Jul 04, 2025 · mason MI took last Saturdays bachata sensual workshop with DaHee and Jodi and would recommend!I felt like the workshop was really informative. The time frame for each segment was great (breaking down the moves, then partner work, then the sequence). I also felt like the instructors were good at providing feedback in a kind manner and really breaking the information down in an easy-to-understand way. Overall, I honestly felt like it was a good introduction for those who are interested in sensual! It left me feeling like "damn I can do this, I wonder what else I can do?!" 🤩
Mar 27, 2025 · Lotus LorI LOVED the workshop! It was very informative and engaging. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the coaching style. I've only had positive things to say as i've talked to my friends about it. I can honestly say that I have no clue how you can improve on it. In my opinion, it was run perfectly.Sorry if that was too vague and positive 🤦🏾♂️. I just can't think of anything that needed improvement.
Mar 28, 2025 · Morgan EroMinneapolis Salsa Bachata Dance Studio has improved my quality of life ten-fold in the past 6 months. I started dancing here 6 months ago and have not looked back since. The instructors have a breadth of wisdom about dancing and are committed to helping you grow as a dancer. I did not have any dance background before coming and feel much more confident/competent as a dancer in the short 6 months I have been there. The instructors; DaHee, Maple, and Shun give you individualized feedback and encouragement in classes that I find extremely beneficial to help me grow as a a dancer.I have loved the community and friends I have made at the studio and I look forward to classes each week. Thanks for becoming my community and showing me how much joy and livelihood dance brings me!
Dec 17, 2024 · Andrew Denault"I really enjoyed both workshops I have attended and appreciate your fine attention to technique and body movement. Every time I dance with you - you find something that is a small but an impactful change. I have learned lots of moves I see social dancing and online that I want to learn - thank you 😊 "
