- Classical Ballet Technique: This is the core of WSBC's curriculum. Classes combine the best elements of the French, Italian, and Russian ballet schools, with a strong emphasis on coordination, alignment, and kinetics.

- Repertoire: Learning and rehearsing classical ballet repertoire provides dancers with opportunities to explore artistry, musicality, and dynamics. Repertoire hours often include rehearsals for main-stage productions and individual/group coaching for competitions.
- Character Dance: A subdivision of classical ballet, character dance focuses on building coordination, musicality, and expressive upper body movement through national and folk-dance styles commonly seen in classical ballets.
- Contemporary Dance: A blend of creative dance, artistry, athleticism, and awareness, contemporary challenges dancers to work with an infinite vocabulary of movement, providing versatility.
- Pilates and Conditioning: WSBC offers specialized conditioning classes, including Pilates (with props), floor barre, TheraBand exercises, and circuit training. These are crucial for enhancing strength, flexibility, and aiding in injury prevention. WSBC dancers have access to a fully-equipped onsite Stott Pilates studio.
- Open Studio / Study Hall: Dedicated time is set aside for dancers to practice independently or complete academic work, acknowledging the demanding schedules of serious students.
- Performance Opportunities: WSBC dancers perform throughout the year in main-stage productions (such as their recognized inaugural production of The Nutcracker), community outreach events, and various ballet competitions and showcase performances.
- Mentorship and Guidance: Beyond technical training, WSBC provides ongoing evaluation, audition preparation, college and career guidance, resume building, and special topics seminars, offering a holistic approach to a dancer's development.
