The Ballet Theatre School Reviews
I've been dancing at this studio since I was four years old. It has been such a great experience! I've learned so much and have been surrounded by an amazing community of women. The teachers are kind and knowledgeable and have created a supportive, welcoming environment that encourages continuous improvement rather than competition. I completely recommend it!
Apr 28, 2024 · Jocelyn SchindlerMy daughter, 8, has been coming for 2 years. Learning ballet skills can be difficult for an 8 year old, but through time and patience she is getting better and better. Now she cannot wait to start her 3rd year. She loves the friends she has made here.I like that the end of the year is a large ballet performance, not just a recital, but a whole ballet. The older/teenage girls take the lead roles, and the younger ones take part in 1 or 2 dances. My daughter was both a "bug" and a "mushroom" in this year's Alice in Wonderland.I also like that they will put the girls in the classes that match their experience and advancement levels, rather than strictly by age. So there might be some beginning older girls in the mid level classes. They will work with each girl at the level she is at, and also let the parents know if their bodies might not be flexible enough for ballet, or assign specific stretches to do at home if they think that will help.
