Yeates Academy of Irish Dance Reviews
As a mother of 2 sons and sister of 2 brothers, I assure you that being a dance mom was not something that had ever entered my mind. My oldest son had different ideas, however, and six years later is now a World Qualifier in Irish dance. Yeates Academy has lovingly nurtured both he and me on every step of this journey, and for their care and kindness, I will forever be grateful. The entire Yeates staff is not only committed to developing excellent dancers, but also exceptional human beings who display compassion, respect, and resiliency. We are now connected to this community and our culture in a way I never thought possible, and being an Irish dance mom now seems as if it is what I was always destined to be :-)
Oct 31, 2019 · Kelly ClarkI have been part of Yeates Academy for over 20 years. As a dancer, I couldn’t ask for a more supportive training environment. We are able to showcase our strengths on the dance floor while continuing to become stronger, more athletic dancers and learning critical life skills such as teamwork and commitment. Everyone gets the same amount of attention in class, no matter the dancer’s skill level, and Sinead, Meaghan, Molly and Breda are dedicated to helping us achieve our goals. Participation in competitions is strongly encouraged but certainly not required, and performance opportunities are available throughout the year, especially during St. Patrick’s Day, as well as an annual recital. I’m incredibly proud to be a Yeates dancer and I feel so grateful every day for our nurturing, supportive community and family!

Not only has my daughter learned how to Irish dance but she has also made lifelong friends, learned how to handle competition, commitment, and teamwork. I can't say enough about the teachers and studio directors. Sinead is an amazing teacher who works with each dancer to help them achieve their goals and support them every step of the way.
