As a mother of 2 sons and sister of 2 brothers, I assure you that being a dance mom was not something that had ever entered my mind. My oldest son had different ideas, however, and six years later is now a World Qualifier in Irish dance. Yeates Academy has lovingly nurtured both he and me on every step of this journey, and for their care and kindness, I will forever be grateful. The entire Yeates staff is not only committed to developing excellent dancers, but also exceptional human beings who display compassion, respect, and resiliency. We are now connected to this community and our culture in a way I never thought possible, and being an Irish dance mom now seems as if it is what I was always destined to be :-) - Kelly Clark
