Memorial Dance Center Reviews
As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with Memorial Dance Studio. It’s incredibly well-run and professional, with a wide range of classes for all ages and skill levels. The staff is so supportive, and the environment is positive and encouraging. My child has grown so much as a dancer and gained so much confidence. The competitions are well-organized with beautiful costumes, and the whole studio truly feels like a second family. Highly recommend!
Apr 25, 2025 · Liz AdamsWe love Memorial Dance! Both of my daughters have danced here since they were 3 and 2 years old. They are excited to go to classes every week and adore their teachers and the staff! MDC is truly the highlight of their week. The studio is also very well-run and organized, plus you receive clear communication regarding policies, calendar, and recital info.
Oct 04, 2023 · Julie GrandtThe teachers are so great with the kids. They helped prepare my oldest daughter for the Memorial Markettes, and my youngest daughter comes home after each class excited to show us what she learned.
Oct 08, 2023 · Melody SiwekThe teachers are great, professional, motivational, and encouraging. My daughter enjoys the class and learns a ton. The level of intensity is just right so that my daughter is motivated to push herself and still has fun. Communication and organization are superb here. You know all of the dates in advance and there is no last-minute scrambling. My main complaint is that the recital and rehearsals are at HBU, which is very far away. Due to traffic and distance, we have to leave school early for rehearsal. Other minor complaints: Parking can be difficult, but I experience worse situations in other after-school activities. I also wish they had more "open curtain" days so we could watch the dancers without following a schedule, but the building design does not allow for this. Ms. Kathy at the front desk may not seem overly friendly, but she is professional, knowledgeable, and is helpful to new parents.
May 21, 2018 · Tien San LucasMy daughters love Memorial Dance! It is so well organized, the policies/procedures are clear and well communicated, and the dance instruction is top notch. They offer both recreational classes as well as competitive Company teams.
