Thrive Embodied Arts | Pole Dancing Reviews
I booked the beginner's class. It was incredible. There is no judgement, no expectations. You barely even look at each other when dancing because you are too busy doing what feels right. The whole experience is created around making you feel comfortable and free. I haven't felt that good in ages. Not only does it end up being a fantastic workout, but the sense of community and connection between women you have never met before is amazing. The whole experience left me euphoric. Think: free form dancing, meets yoga, meets spiritual wellness retreat. Even if you are a more conservative, self-conscious, or shy woman, you will be comfortable in this atmosphere. I'm a bigger girl, not very athletic, with not a lot of upper body strength and I felt like wonder woman. The vibes and aesthetic are immaculate.
Apr 28, 2025 · Lindsay HayesFrom the moment I stepped through the doors of Thrive Embodied Art, I knew I was in for something special. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the experience only got better from there. The connections I made that evening were meaningful, and I left feeling not only inspired but also with a renewed sense of confidence. I’m truly grateful for the energy and creativity that Thrive has to offer. Definitely an experience worth treating yourself to.
Mar 28, 2025 · Kalee MccloudThrive is everything I never knew that I needed! Stepping into this space to unwind from life is always just what I needed. Embodied arts is only the beginning of what the Thrive community has to offer. It's been a community that provides you with love and support no matter what. A community of like minded people to share and connect with. If you are thinking about taking the leap, all I can say is do this for yourself!
Apr 08, 2025 · Paige LeiteI was on the waitlist for a bit, but it was definitely worth the wait. I went to a beginner class on 5/15/25. I thought it was absolutely amazing. As soon as you walk in the doors the place is very welcoming. This truly is a no judgement place which I definitely needed. I thought this class was only about pole dancing, but it is so much more than that. It is about being connected to your mind body and soul. What I experienced was much deeper and more meaningful than I thought it would be. While we did engage with the pole, the focus wasn’t on choreography or technique. The instructor guided us through gentle movement, breathwork, and self-reflection, encouraging us to slow down and really listen to what our bodies needed. We explored how to relax, how to let go of tension, and how to treat our minds with more kindness. It felt less like a workout and more like a moving meditation. If you're open to grounding experience that leaves you feeling more in tune with yourself, I highly recommend here.
May 18, 2025 · Natasha BrionesIt is so hard to put words to how much Thrive Embodied Arts and this community mean to me.Finding this place was like finding home … a place that felt like home to me, and helping me find a home within myself (and my true authentic self). This is so much more than a pole studio! A friend told me about the Thrive, mostly in the form of a fun workout (which is completely true), but I have found so much more than that here. I have found a place that I feel safe to be physically and emotionally vulnerable and where I have been encouraged and empowered to continually grow into the highest version of myself.I have grown so much in the last 2 years of being a member here and while I know it was on me to do that work, I know that I couldn't (or wouldn't) have done it without this community. Thrive has given me many different outlets for that work (movement, reflection, talking, writing, art) and a community of people that genuinely cares about and supports each other. Everyone is working through their own challenges in life and it is so much easier to not have to do it alone. I had no idea how much I needed a community of like-minded women until I found this space!I am so grateful that I found this community, and I have so much love and appreciation for all the staff and members of Thrive!
