The Workroom MN Reviews
The Workroom is a fun dance studio offering mostly hip hop styles, heels, and fitness classes. It’s easy to register, as you just download an app and sign up yourself. My only complaint is that they’ve introduced memberships, which were a little confusing to understand how you many class credits you get if you join mid-month. They also increased their drop-in price and don’t have a new member trial class offer. This seems a little limiting for new people who just want to see if they like the studio. On the positive side, the people in class tend to be really friendly! The few instructors whose classes I’ve attended have been very informative and encouraging. I have been able to attend a few of Karen’s regular Thursday classes, and she is a phenomenal instructor who brings the heat 🔥.Their pop-up series is also fun because they bring in new choreographers pretty regularly. Derek’s series in April is a great experience because he brings a much more masculine style to the studio.I think this studios is also great for no-low experience dancers because the beg/int classes are filled with very positive people and patient instructors.

The Workroom offers a multitude of dance styles, classes, and schedules. Huge fan of Ashley’s and Nancy’s beginner hip hop classes and Michelle’s Ladies Night! Heels by Ashley and Alexis are always full of fun and supportive classmates. Dancing can be intimidating but not here; the staff are so welcoming, supportive, and it’s incredibly easy to make new friends here! Thank you for creating such an amazing outlet for the community!
