School of Rock Reviews
I was interested in enrolling my 8-year-old daughter in School of Rock and scheduled two trial classes. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing due to poor communication and a lack of professionalism from the staff—specifically Holly, the assistant general manager. At the first class, no one explained what to expect. Holly didn’t offer a tour, walk us through the process, or provide any orientation. My daughter was taken to the back without explanation, and I was told I couldn’t accompany her—no reassurance, no details, nothing. I had no idea what was happening during the class. The next day, we returned for the Rock 101 group trial. Once again, no one offered any guidance. When I asked if I could see where she was/what she was doing, Holly stated only instructors could be in the back and passively allowed me to peek into the back but didn’t bother to walk me through the space or address my concerns. However, I saw other parents back there multiple times. After the second class, I asked about pricing. Holly told me she’d email me—she never did. I waited until the following week and then had to follow up myself, but never received a reply. My daughter enjoyed the classes themselves and was excited to continue, but the lack of transparency, poor follow-through, and dismissive attitude from the front desk staff made me uncomfortable moving forward. Parents deserve to feel confident and informed, especially when leaving young children in someone else’s care. Disappointed overall.

Feb 28, 2025 · Amber CalhounSchool of Rock has been an absolute game-changer for my 13-year-old daughter's musical journey! Over the past year, I've witnessed incredible growth in her skills and confidence thanks to the inspiring instructors and supportive environment. From learning new instruments to mastering complex rhythms, she's truly blossomed into a talented musician. As a parent, seeing her shine on stage and share her love for music with others brings me immense joy. School of Rock has not only nurtured her talent but also instilled invaluable life skills that will benefit her for years to come. I couldn't be prouder of her progress, and I wholeheartedly recommend School of Rock to any young aspiring musician!
Apr 24, 2024 · Lina DiazI had my first bass lesson with Parker and OMG it was amazing! I learned so much in 30 minutes than on than on my own. Not only was Parker kind and patient but also very attentive and detailed. Parker helped map my goals given I have a solid classical violinist background so it felt familiar. I learned to play a song on my first try and learned techniques to improve my playing. I highly recommend both Parker and school of rock!
