Briora Ballroom Dance Studio Reviews
My partner and I did a an introductory dance lesson with Teresa and loved it so much thay we decided to sign up for private lessons with her. Her warmth and obvious love of dancing was very apparent which made every lesson fun and enjoyable! She introduced us to several different types of dancing which helped us decide what was right for us. We ended up liking waltz the best and focused more on those lessons.Logistically the studio was phenomenal, friendly, clean, and comfortable. We're very much looking forward to taking more waltz lessons with Teresa in the near future and would definitely recommend working with her and the studio as a whole!
Jun 20, 2025 · Matthew CardWe took an intro dance class focusing on Salsa/Swing with Teresa for my wife's birthday last month. Teresa's an awesome instructor and we had a lot of fun having her teach us during our time there. The studio overall is also very warm and inviting, and is a fun place to learn the various types of dances.
Jun 09, 2025 · Siddharth KulkarniMy husband and I took dance lessons at Briora for our wedding dance. We worked with Megan, who was absolutely incredible from start to finish. My husband and I both are NOT dancers, and we came in with very minimal dance experience. Megan was able to teach us so many easy and beautiful moves to work into our first dance, in only four lessons. She was professional, kind, and efficient in the lessons. I am astounded at how much we could fit into a 45-minute class. Megan also helped my dad and I with our dance -- and I truly commend her patience, as my dad can be a difficult student. Even so, he was able to learn some swing dancing moves and we had an incredible time at the wedding!Megan even taught us a couple moves for photo moments, and for audience applause. Thanks to her, we were able to really put on a show for our guests and felt truly elegant! We will definitely be back to Briora for future dance lessons :)
Oct 22, 2023 · Sydney MuirheadI love this place! The staff is super friendly and the ballroom space is perfect. My now husband and I attended private lessons with Megan for our wedding dance. I had a vision of how I wanted the dance to look and feel and Megan was able to make it a reality. She was patient with both of us having never danced before and her instruction and little tweaks made our dance feel professional and look effortless. It was such a fun experience and I recommend any couple getting married to consider getting a dance choreographed and taught there. We will definitely be going back for date nights! Thanks Megan and Briora Ballroom!
Jul 30, 2024 · Danielle FaricelliBriora is a great place to learn to dance! The instructors are great and the classes are a lot of fun. I like how the instructors will work with you to come up with a plan for private lessons no matter what your goals are. The VIP membership includes unlimited free group classes and free use of the facilities for practice on your own during business hours, so membership is a great deal if you are able to take advantage of those things. It's worthwhile to take the group classes over again too, since each month they will teach slightly different figures so you'll gain something new even if you're repeating the same group class. Definitely would recommend Briora for students of all levels.
