Carl and his team are awesome instructors. They are a very professional, knowledgeable, patient and amazingly fun group of people. It’s obvious that they really want their students to learn the art of hand dancing. We are enjoying ourselves tremendously in class as well as when we go on “field trips” to the local VFW. These trips serve as a great opportunity to practice our dance steps and socialize with some wonderful people. Odyssey Hand Dance Academy rocks!!!

Feb 22, 2025 · Stephanie HicksThe Odyssey Hand Dance Academy is a well structured and organized group of instructors who are very experienced and work very diligently with you in order to help you learn hand dancing. Whether you are a beginner or intermediate dancer, there is always room to learn and grow within this system. Learning to hand dance is an enjoyment that I really appreciate, because there is always something new to learn. Therefore, there is always a lot of energy and enthusiasm in each class and dancing with classmates is fun.In addition to the Hand Dance Classes, Line Dance Classes are offered. The instructor for the Line Dance Classes is awesome. She’s from NY, however, she knows all of the dances in the DMV. Her teaching method is very simplistic and easy to follow and learn. She makes learning fun and exciting. I really enjoyed the class.
