Front Range Classical Ballet Academy Reviews
I started taking classes here a few months ago since I was looking for a more traditional and technique oriented studio and I have had a fantastic experience! Ixchel is an excellent teacher and gives great correction. In my time so far she has been very patient and works well with students of all ages/personalities. All of my fellow adult students have been very welcoming and made me feel comfortable very quickly. Would highly recommend to anyone!
May 29, 2025 · Melissa KI am at glad I decided to have my daughter start ballet here! She really wanted to dance, but being 13 and having never done ballet before, I wanted to make sure she felt she was being treated as a young woman and not in a class with toddlers. FRCBA offers a 13+ beginner class- perfect! She loves it. She had gotten so much better in the last 6 months.Ms. Ixchel has been willing to work with me, answer my questions and even got on the phone with me to solve a concern my daughter was having about the performance (feeling like she wasn't ready). After we talked, and my daughter decided to stay in rehearsals, she text me: "thanks, Mom. I'm really glad you put me in this."I think the classes, instructors and pacing are very inviting and welcoming for any level of dancers. We've dropped out of as couple other studios, but this one feels like a this match.
Mar 11, 2025 · Erin SFRCBA and Ixchel have given my daughter such confidence and poise through loving, patient instruction. The community of dancers feels like family and works hard to support one another. The opportunity to perform is available to all who love being on stage! I cannot express what a gift this studio is in our daughter's life!
Jan 13, 2025 · Janet HanlonI have often had a hard time finding good coaches who are willing to work with my disability, but Ixchel is among the best coaches I have had! She helps me to improve within my abilities, and often adapts movements for me to do safely, while still looking like a cool dancer. This studio has made me feel more at home in Ft. Collins, and coming here is my favorite part of my day. The other dancers have welcomed me with open arms, and a year later, I am not only a better dancer, but have a whole new group of incredible friends as well (:
Jun 11, 2024 · Kerry MillerThis studio is my happy place and feels like my home away from home! I've danced with many instructors at this studio and each is extremely kind as well as knowledgeable about all areas of ballet (e.g., history, technique, injury prevention, etc.). Students at this studio are friendly, and I've made many sweet friends from my classes. Ixchel has created a warm and welcoming environment for everyone at this studio - from little kiddos through older adults. Though I live in Wyoming, I drive an hour and a half each way to come to classes at this studio several times a week - it's worth it! I look forward to many more years of dancing at FRCBA.
