I love this studio i have made friendships of a lifetime here, all of the instructors are so talented and treat everyone with respect. Mrs Melissa and Samantha G have been an inspiration to me since day one. They have watched me grow up and have been right by my side. I always say that Mrs Melissa is like a second mother to me because of how kind and respectful she has been, not only as a dance teacher but as a mentor. Jan 02, 2023 · Izzy MainI don't have the most experience with different dance schools in our area, so I can't make fair comparisons. But what I can do is share our family's experience with dance arts conservatory. 3 of our children have been attending classes & camps there for about 1 1/2 years. They have learned so much and have had so much fun in the process, but more importantly, their self confidence & esteem have grown as a result of. They are treated with kindness & respect by all of their instructors, they are always met with support & encouragement, and they feel wanted & welcomed there. I believe this contributes to our children being the type of students who look forward to going, who enjoy practicing at home, and who try their best to be their best selves. Also, the owners of this family business are some of the most thoughtful & generous people around. We can't see ourselves going anywhere else. It's been, and continues to be, an absolute dream to be part of the dance arts conservatory family.
Oct 15, 2020 · Sofia SugiartoI highly recommend this school. Two of my grandchildren take classes with Melissa Waters McCoy. My granddaughter took ballet classes at the well known Boca Ballet School but I think that DAC is way more advanced and teach classical ballet with a much greater professionalism. Thank you,Melissa and the rest of the faculty for the wonderful experience.
May 04, 2019 · lana lankosmoMy daughter had been in dance for 7 years, with the last 2 years at DAC. Before we moved to Florida she danced at Columbus State University Dance Conservatory in Columbus GA and had excelled; performing in professional theaters. After 2 years at DAC, she wanted to quit dance completely and even refused to try another studio. She never felt accepted by the other dancers and they were downright rude to her. She would come home crying and saying that she didn't want to dance anymore. She always loved to dance and now has abandoned the art. The dance instructor was kind and knowledgeable, but everything else about this place of business was EXTREMELY disappointing, including operations.
Oct 30, 2020 · Karen JohnsonDance Arts Conservatory is a very professional, loving environment. Melissa Waters is amazingly gifted, patient, and encouraging, there is a community atmosphere, and the students are exceptionally talented and mature.
