- Creative Movement: This exciting 45-minute class is for their youngest dancers, incorporating imagination with movement and basic dance principles. Dancers use props like scarves and shapes and engage in singing to learn fundamental ballet and dance movements, body control, listening skills, balance, and coordination.
- Pre-Ballet, Tap & Tumble / Ballet, Tap & Tumble (Ages 3-5): These classes foster interest in dance, focusing on coordination, concentration, musicality, flexibility, and the ability to follow instructions. They incorporate free movement with props and different music genres, preparing young dancers for more structured classes.
- Combo Classes (Ages 5-7): These classes introduce basic dance technique and terminology, often combining ballet, tap, and jazz into a single engaging session, perfect for young dancers exploring different styles.
- Junior, Intermediate, and Advanced Levels: For experienced dancers, weekly classes are offered in a wide array of styles including Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Lyrical/Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Acro. These levels are based on the dancer's age and experience, with Ballet often being a requirement for most higher-level classes, except for Hip Hop and Acro.
- Pointe and Pre-Pointe: Specialized classes for dancers ready for pointe work, focusing on preparation, responsibility, maturity, muscle memory, body alignment, and bone structure.
- MEM Dance Company: This program provides opportunities for dancers to be exposed to various styles of choreography and music, gain performance experience in different venues, and build strong bonds with team members and dancers from other studios.
- Annual Recitals: Each June, MEM Dance Theatre holds annual performances to showcase student progress. This includes Matinee performances for younger dancers and Evening recitals for intermediate and advanced students.

MEM Dance Theatre Reviews
After four years of loyalty to this studio, we were shocked and heartbroken when our 11-year-old daughter was dismissed just before the year-end dance events. She has worked incredibly hard all year, and our family has invested over $7,000 in tuition and fees. Unfortunately, a minor disagreement involving her grandmother led the owners to make an extreme and unfair decision. Their handling of the situation was unprofessional and lacked compassion. My daughter is devastated, and we’re deeply disappointed in how the studio treats its students and families.

Apr 29, 2025 · W BI was treated poorly here for years, 5 years I committed my life here. Day and night I was in the studio, recently I was treated horribly and was kicked out. I was extremely sad they did not take in to account my feelings, as this was my dream I have not danced since and do not plan on it, My parents repeatedly asked for forgiveness and stated how sad I was. I cried for days. Due to my time there I was still treated horribly, they do not appreciate their students and only care about the staff. I was bullied there and no one did anything, a students mom put there hands on me and I had left the rehearsal crying. I danced many days a week and many hours. I was in multiple dances and in center. I had put my dream in their hands in they crushed it. My parents were told different stories, the dance teachers told my business to all their students. I was a example, they are completely unorganized and unreasonable. They called me a liar even though they knew the truth, and act like the victims in situations. They do not respect the people that are giving them money and keeping their business running, they did not teach me any tricks I knew I taught myself everything. They are always giving excuses, and are always late to class, My parents payed $900 a month and I was barley taught anything. Their prices are unreasonable and ridiculous, even though my parents payed so much I was still treated horribly. I do not recommend this dance studio to parents/kids.

Aug 14, 2018 · Coach DaileyThe facility is nice and they offer a wide variety of classes at good prices. It will work for you and your family as long as you don't want to be involved or see what they work on. When they are young, parents got to stay and sit in the room to watch them develop skills and learn their routine. Now that my daughter is 6, it is a drop and go home situation. The kids run amuck since the parents aren't there and although the staff claims they are there to watch them, they don't. They also tell you they will let you watch via skype once a month but then either start it late, don't let you in or just completely forget. Once asked about it, they provide an excuse and "will do it next week" but then the next week, same issue. Now that the recital is coming up, and they want to make sure parents buy tickets, they have stopped the skype all together. My daughters coach has been late several times so other staff play games with them until she arrives which is not what we pay for. It has been a real decline since the new ownership took over. When you ask questions, they give short answers if they give one at all. It seems anything other than giving them a payment is a bother.
