My son started taking flamenco guitar lessons with Eric when he was 12 years old. An aspiring fingerstyle guitarist, he started flamenco lessons to improve his technique. Now 16, he continues on because he loves the music, enjoys his lessons, and sees his progress - his technique and musicianship have improved dramatically both as a fingerstyle and flamenco guitarist.Eric was recommended to us by a well-regarded classical guitar teacher in Seattle who referred to him as 'the best flamenco teacher in the Northwest'. We agree - we feel really lucky our son is able to learn in person from an amazing authentic flamenco guitarist, performer and composer who also knows how to teach. He has learned from masters in Spain, is passionate about the culture and craft and cares about passing it on. The lessons are expensive, so it is a financial commitment, but if you are a dedicated student you will definitely get out what you put in and then some. - Eugenia Chang
