OmCulture Reviews
OmCulture is a beautiful, festive, introspective and yet communal space. The dances Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as the special events offered give a delightful alternative to “Seattle Freeze” culture— a holistic, full body and spirit experience of acceptance and an invitation: to show up. To show up to and for yourself, your community, and to the dance— in all of its imperfect glory. So happy to have discovered this space and the people that make it what it is!
Jun 30, 2025 · C PThis place is amazing — a beacon of community and love in Seattle. If you want to beat the Seattle freeze and be welcomed with open arms, come to the Tuesday or Thursday ecstatic dance! This place has become a second home and family to me in the three months I’ve been coming.
Jul 04, 2025 · Teddy RutbergI love OmCulture. It will forever be my ecstatic dance community home. Ecstatic dance is a form of somatic healing that I embraced not even knowing the emotional healing power it has. It's a healing journey, a great workout, and a social blast! I love seeing all my friends here, and the space is perfectly designed in a circular format to encompass a more "living" feel. The dance floor is gorgeous too - I remember when he got the new floor a few years ago. Stunning. I'm so grateful for this place and will always return here as long as OmCulture lives.
Mar 21, 2025 · Bridgett Kay WintersOM Culture is the only place I know in Seattle so far that brings together meditation, yoga, and ecstatic dance all in one community. I haven’t been going for very long, so I don’t know many people well yet, but I’m hoping to get to know them more as I keep showing up. Oh, and a lot of folks there seem to be into Buddhism too, which really aligns with my own philosophy. (Of course it's Not religion based place!) It’s a community based space! I really enjoy the ecstatic dance workshops; they always bring fresh new ideas for movement, and every time I dance, I feel more drawn to expressing myself freely. Most weeks, on Tuesdays and Thursdays (though not always! if you join the workshop, you can also stay for the free dance session afterward without paying anything extra. Just a little tip!
May 23, 2025 · Kiki Jin MillerI have been going to Om for dance experiences for several months, and it has been a great discovery including my own discovery of the healing power of dance itself. People are welcoming, inclusive, and respectful. It is easy to feel authentic joy and connection in this safe, good-human energy-infused space. The discovery has added value to my life ❣️
