Dance Matters NYC Reviews
We have been with Dance Matters NYC ever since my daughter was 2.5 years old and they offered a summer class in a small space they rented. My daughter is now 6. I am so proud to be part of this community.Their growth as a school is very impressive. Every year recitals get better and better. They’re always very responsive to parent feedback. They’re always available via phone, text, emails, and always very approachable in person. The staff is exceptional! I love all the teachers my daughter has had through the years. I am looking forward to another successful year in September.I would recommend this school to anyone looking to enroll their child(ren) in an extracurricular activity or if they aspire to be dancers. Their rates are based on the amount of hours students attend and I believe as of now they are reasonable.Note: They offer summer camp in the months of July and August, however we do not do summer camp.

Apr 07, 2025 · w wangI was looking for a Dance Studio for my 4 year old to learn Ballet, which was professional, took the art seriously and would help my child learn discipline.. and I'm so glad I found Dance Matters! My daughter looks forward to her lessons, loves her teacher and seems to find it easy enough to grasp the steps taught. I highly recommend this studio!
May 19, 2025 · Ashwini VasudevanDance Matters has been so wonderfully patient with us and our toddler. We joined because our toddler wanted to be a ballerina but was very hesitant in participating in class. The teacher was extremely patient. The teacher encourage but did not pressure our kiddo to participate. We then ventured off to a different school closer to home but we did not like the instructor and came back to Dance Matters, who welcomed us back with open arms. Funny enough, after a couple of classes, our kiddo then decides that ballet is not something they want to do anymore. 🤦♀️Almost a year later, our kiddo now wants to come back. 🤦♀️🤦♀️ If we do baller again, we will definitely come back to this establishment.
Apr 18, 2025 · Carol HMy daughter currently attends this dance studio as a beginner dancer. The receptionist Rebecca is so sweet as well as her dance instructor. They have great communication, support, and most importantly affordable. I was expecting to pay hundreds for a studio that nice in that neighborhood. Everyone is so friendly. I would definitely recommend if you want to enroll your children! 🤌🏾🥰☺️
