Body & Pole Reviews
We booked a private lesson at Body and Pole with Gina and she was truly amazing, fun loving, supportive, and full of energy. Gina asked us what kind of music we liked and kept alllll of the hits coming, which made the experience even more enjoyable and personalized. This was something a little out of our comfort zone, but Gina helped break the ice and got us moving right away. My friends and I visited during the holidays and we were all complete beginners. Gina worked with us at our level, helped build our confidence with the beginner skills, and made the whole experience really fun. After our lesson, the crew for the next class was so supportive. They asked how our experience was and seemed genuinely happy that we had such a great time. I really love the positive and encouraging atmosphere that Gina creates. It made all the difference.
Jun 17, 2025 · Brianna TI had an excellent experience and a decent one during my time visiting. I appreciated the flexibility of my reschedule for the class I initially planned to attend but was not able to make it to. I am a regular user of the Mind & Body app and the staff allowed me to move my lyra class for later in the day when I called. Unfortunately I did not have a great time with the instructor as the level was above what my regular studio trains. Jacob had a great warm up however and was a very impressive instructor, who actually no longer works there anyways…The sequence he set up also was made up of some moves that I have struggled with from my previous training so that may be biased on my part. Everyone had to share a lyra as the class was full but it was a good class overall, and I would love to improve and also try a different instructor.I had a fabulous experience for the pole class I took. Gina was such a fun and encouraging instructor. She helped give me insight on certain moves that I had previously worked on, which was great help, and cheered me on to keep going and acquire a new move as well!Overall there are multiple, large studio rooms with well spaced out poles / rigging for aerial apparatuses. There is also a locker room, changing rooms, and clean bathrooms. I really liked the vibe: a clean, spacious studio, different color lighting options, and cool photos / art in the main rooms.
Jan 23, 2024 · Madison FreemanOkay so let's blast in the past and this will explain why I closed the chapter on Body & Pole... I was taking a lot of open pole, and some instructional classes for a while and loved it here. As a whole this studio is ran professionally but you are paying some high fees so that explains why. Packages were higher if not comparable to my $391 Equinox gym membership. My favorite instructors are Daniel Darling and Marianne. However, there was one day I decided on a different instructor and that's when all hell broke loose. Lord I will never forget this person but unfortunately will not provide his name. So basically I really wanted to get into low flow. I don't come from a dancers background and everything I do is slow and might even look awkward. I took this guys class. Skinny, long hair, over 20 minutes late. His background is in night life. Eyes bloodshot red early in the morning and had a very nasty attitude. He was highly annoyed that I did not look great when I was practicing the moves. Guessing because dance is life for him and so he might perceive he's not doing something right if a student looks a hot mess. But like any novice dance becoming mastered takes time. I was making sure I paid attention when he showed the moves and this idiot SCREAMED out (I kid you not)" don't look at me. Look at yourself" while he's teaching! Or if it wasn't that there were moments he was acting as if he was running a military style training camp mind you in a BEGINNERS LOW FLOW class. I never returned to this studio. Deleted the app and kept it moving.
May 12, 2025 · Shanerra BrooksBeautiful studio and clean, the intro to pole class was fun and great energy but I hated that we had to share a pole. I think that should be disclosed by the studio before signing up. Also someone came into the class late and it was very rude and disruptive. The instructor was friendly and helpful. However, I’m not sure if I’ll come back to this studio
Jun 09, 2025 · Jansen SalsichLove love love the instructors and the classes. But the class cancelation policy, expiration of classes, class credits, are all designed to fail you in using what you have paid for.The silk and hammocks smell really bad. For the price being paid for this classes, I expect them to be washed at least once a week if not every day. If these silly things are fixed, this can be the best place to learn Aerial.
