I LOVE vintage ballroom. The venue is warm and inviting. It’s a beautiful space, easy to find, with lots of parking nearby for a downtown venue. I also take dance lessons there and I’ve never had a more fun, funny, and knowledgeable instructor. Great spot to make new friends and dive into a new hobby!

I attended a wedding here on 6/28/2025, and while the decore is quaint, the vibe of management and bartenders was not! The microphone kept cutting in and out during the ceremony, the venue was so small that the bar closed twice and they stopped serving people during dinner, and during the bride & groom’s and parent’s dances. Additionally, a situation arose before dancing was opened to all guests that management could have handled with tactfulness and grace but chose to shutdown the reception and made all guests leave. I DO NOT recommend this venue for any special events.

I will never understand why the bar was shut down during dinner service, speeches, and dances. The liquor was brought in by the wedding party. If the wedding party/parents want the bar to be open, that should have been adhered to. I was more than polite to the entire staff, yet I wasn’t treated fairly multiple times during the evening. I had to ask for the bride’s name to be corrected on the front sign and for flower arrangements to be completed before any of this even happened. The attention to detail was lacking right from the beginning. The manager was respectful to me during the clean up, but the staff was not professional at all.

I recently attended a wedding at this venue and was incredibly disappointed by the unprofessional behavior of the staff—particularly the two bartenders and a security guard. I was not drinking, so I was able to observe everything clearly throughout the evening.From early on, the bartenders seemed uninterested in providing good service. The bar was repeatedly shut down during key moments of the reception, and the staff was openly rude to guests. At one point, I witnessed a bartender shouting and threatening a woman who was simply trying to get a drink for herself and her husband—this happened early in the evening and set a concerning tone.Unfortunately, the situation only escalated from there. Later in the night, I watched a groomsman politely ask the bartender and security guard if the bar could be reopened. Instead of responding professionally, they began yelling. As tensions rose, more confrontations happened and at one time, and they became so bad it frightened children, and several parents scrambled to find their kids, fearing a fight might break out.It’s my understanding that some guests may have brought in outside liquor (like shooters), which could have been against the venue’s rules. However, if that was the issue, it should have been handled calmly and discreetly by addressing the individuals involved NOT by penalizing the entire wedding party and ejecting all guests around 8 PM. That decision felt extreme, uncalled for, and frankly, deeply unprofessional.What’s most upsetting is how the staff seemed disengaged and combative from the moment we arrived; as if they were looking for a reason to shut the event down. The hosts paid for everything in good faith, and their special day was completely overshadowed by poor management and a total lack of conflict resolution skills.This experience left a lasting impression for all the wrong reasons. I sincerely hope the venue reconsiders how their staff is trained in customer service and de-escalation for future events.

I photographed a couple of weddings here and the Vintage Ballroom has such a fun charming and vintage vibe. My FAVORITE thing about this venue is their bridal suite. It's behind a secret doorway/bookshelf. I about lost my mind when I saw it. So cool! The staff has always been super friendly and helpful, too. I'd definitely recommend. :)
