Turning Pointe Academy For The Performing Arts Reviews
I received an email about my child being dropped from classes for “being a distraction.” My child is 6 years old and this was her first time in dance. She also was recently diagnosed with ADHD. Unfortunately, neither the teacher or the director reached out to me about these distractions (which I did try to help with during our short time there) and they didn’t offer to put her in a class that may be more suitable for her. They “value” every family, except for the kiddos with ADHD that may need a little extra help.We definitely will not be recommending.
Feb 02, 2025 · Hope DunningI am appalled at the discriminatory practices towards special needs children from this establishment. Children with additional medical needs and very real diagnosis are kicked out of programming that is considered very therapeutic for the child. Instead of allowing all of the benefits from “dance therapy” and happiness they contribute to mental health issues the child may or may not already face from lack of acceptance from peers and now adults of this establishment. I wouldn’t recommend any parent subject their child to this studio.
Feb 02, 2025 · Lilly HollidayMy granddaughter has been at TPA for 3 years and absolutely loves it, She has not only grown as a dancer but her confidence has blossomed also. Great place for young girls to flourish.
Jun 18, 2024 · Julie HowardWe have been part of the TPA family for going on 2 years.. we have been with other dance studios where you are just a member, with TPA you become part of a family. The growth I have seen with my daughter has been nothing but remarkable. She has found a love in dance I didn’t know she would ever have, she is determined now to dance until college and beyond. I recommend this dance program to everyone.
Jun 15, 2024 · Kasey ManzanoMy daughters have been students since they were 2.5 and 4years old (going on 10 years now 🤯) They absolutely love Turning Pointe and the well-rounded dance education they are receiving!
