We wanted their education to give them a solid foundation in technique, while maintaining class and modesty, and Movement Laboratory delivered.Miss Judy and the entire staff of Movement Laboratory bring the very best education of a prestigious dance school to our small community, and we are grateful. It's because of this that our daughters have attended for 8 and 2 years, respectively. Our girls have learned important lessons of hard work, perseverance, self-worth, and relationships in addition to dance, that will help them the rest of their lives.Miss Judy and staff, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for pouring yourselves into our girls, showing them how to be the best versions of who God created them to be. Feb 22, 2024 · Tracey BenderMy daughter has danced at The Movement Laboratory for many years. We were happy with our experience. The staff is amazing and they do everything possible to allow the students to learn and grow as dancers.
Jul 17, 2024 · Michelle OttI had such high hopes for this school when I first enrolled, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a major letdown. They don't prioritize communication and clarity at all. No matter how hard I tried to understand their expectations or get consistent information, I just kept hitting dead ends.I was tossed around in every direction imaginable. No introductions, no explanations of the rules or expectations, and no tour of the school. I was left to figure everything out on my own.The new students or those who haven't been dancing in this school since they were young are neglected too. Although staff may smile and be polite, I felt shunned and I was treated like an outsider. It felt as if my presence was an intrusion and the only reason they kept me around was because they were getting paid to teach me.I essentially self-taught most of what I know from YouTube because the school failed to provide proper instruction. I put in the effort, but the school made it extremely challenging. I have no intention of returning to this school, and I cannot in good conscience recommend it to anyone aspiring to learn dance.I’m sharing my experience with this school because I know many of the existing reviews are from longtime parents or students, and I think it's important for new people to hear different perspectives.
