It's really a great place to have children enrolled in. The Instructors are very patient and loving which are major big pluses. The children enjoy and at the end of the year they have a dance recital which is of nother. It's a Broadway in itself. For those who have not been to a Broadway play, this place will definitely give you a taste of it.
Oct 10, 2017 · Suzanne CorbettI WOULD LOVE TO ATTEND ADULT DAY-TIME CLASSES AT GLORIA EVE PERFORMING ARTS FOUNDATION INC. I don't understand why in LONG ISLAND the Performing Arts Foundations and/or Schools DO NOT offer ADULT CLASSES! There are many ADULT'S who would be quite willing to commit to CLASSES from BEGINNER'S to PROFESSIONAL. Furthermore, willing to commit to eight (8) WEEK or one (1) YEAR programs. A lot of people, like myself have nothing to do during the day! In Southern New Jersey. in the Cherry Hill area, there is a school that I literally attended with nine (9) other ADULT STUDENTS in my TAP CLASS. My JAZZ class had twelve (12) students. I was enrolled for three (3) classes per week in each class for five (5) years. For the children's division they had over two-hundred (200) students. There is a market for ADULT CLASSES, and I would like to add the ADULT CLASSES were during the DAY not at night. Quite a few of the LADIES brought their children in their strollers! I did! And then when my son went into PRE-K, and I continued. Then we moved to Long Island, and NOTHING! NOTHING! NO ADULT CLASSES. You have to go to MANHATTAN. Now 20 years later I have to start with beginner's classes again because I have not been able to find a DANCE SCHOOL in WESTERN NASSAU in all these years. The schools I have found in the 5-TOWNS area are NIGHT CLASSES!
Sep 11, 2019 · Moontower LtdI'm currently at their annual recital & my issue is the recital is set up more like a play with no real breaks for patrons to reasonably exit and re-enter before intermission. Its a 4 hour production! My aunt & sister have been standing at the back of the theatre for over 40m bc they aren't allowed to go back to their seats until intermission! So if you have to go the bathroom or take a call you're punished to stand in the back until intermission which in this case isn't for another hour? This is a dance recital, not a play. They need to allow for movement of the customers. My sister left to give my aunt her ticket who arrived late...now they're BOTH stuck at the back for over an HOUR? unacceptable!! I won't be coming again if I can't go pee and not be forced to stand in the back until intermission. At other recitals patrons have to wait until in between dance numbers to return to your seat...but there are no numbers to leave between! Its a continuous recital until intermission! They turn the lights down and rush to change the scenes in between...instead of making it an opportunity to give ppl time to come in or exit. This is a poor policy regarding their recital set up.I'm annoyed my aunt & sister are standing in the back for over an hour after paying almost $35 for a ticket!!The production is great. It's wrong the paying customers are punished for taking leave. This isn't Broadway.
