Raven Studios Reviews
Great facility, location is a little out of the way but most studios are in Seattle. Lots of parking available. Like others have stated, you do have to share a pole from time to time, but that has been my standard experience at most studios in Seattle.I took a few beginning courses but have ultimately decided the studio wasn't for me. I would appreciate more feedback and instruction during lessons. I didn't feel very welcomed to most classes and it felt more like a place where you get your exercises in and get out than a community.Overall, a very body positive space and very inclusive, excellent equipment and space and a lot of room to practice, generally enough class space for interest, but a less than ideal location and not the vibe I'm looking for.
Jul 02, 2025 · E GriffinLove this studio! The instructors are super supportive. I’ve been coming to classes since 2020 and planning to keep on with those and trying out even more classes - they have plenty of interesting stuff!
Jul 05, 2025 · Diana Rodríguez LunaI hate giving negative reviews, however, I can’t recommend this place. Parking was terrible on the day that I went, though my classmates assured me that wasn’t usually the case. Apparatus sharing was unexpected- there was more participants in the class than there were slings. I e seen reviews stating this is common practice in Seattle, however, I’ve yet to see it anywhere else. I’ve take aerial yoga before at other seattle locations - both hammock style (2 anchors) and sling style (one anchor that spins.) I’m also accustomed to the apparatus being adjusted to one’s height. Here, there were high slings and low slings, but to use the high one you essentially had to be able to do a full pull up in what is marketed as a beginner class. I used the low sling and tried to flip as I’ve done in other non-raven studio locations, but due to the height of the hammock, I wound up smashing my hand into the ground and after going to urgent care the next day, I was informed it was broken. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to use my remaining 3 trial classes now, which sucks because that money could’ve gone to my urgent care copay. (Edit: they have since refunded me, which I genuinely appreciate!)I’d heard a bunch of really good things about raven studio, and wanted to love it, but now I’m unable to do any activity that would require my hands for 6-8 weeks. I wish it was more clear that apparatuses are shared, or simply that class size could be made smaller. I also wish there was a beginner “conditioning” or strength training class for people who maybe don’t have the core or upper body strength yet required for certain activities. Overall, I was really excited to try a few classes here but don’t foresee being able to go back.
Apr 05, 2025 · Fiona BeckerWent here to catch a perfomance featuring a coworker and other dancers. The event was well done and all of the various performers had their different and unique sets that were highly entertaining to watch!
Feb 17, 2025 · Quincy RoweOverbooked class and as a result not enough time in class to be hands on with the pole. Its not a bad studio by any means but having been to other studios in Seattle this place is the only one I have been to that over books the pole classes, you share the pole whole time with another student which makes the actual class time you spend practicing very little. I saw another person post about this and the studio’s response was its “common practice in Seattle” that has not been my experience at the other three studios I have been to here in Seattle. Its a nice studio but i prefer more class time than what they offer, I wont be going back.
