What truly sets the Purple Charlotte Steppers Club apart is its commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone, regardless of their dance experience. As one new member enthusiastically shared, "My first experience was absolutely wonderful!! I felt like a kid on Christmas Eve when I got home because I couldn’t wait for next Thursday!!" Led by Master Instructor Demond Carter, a visionary in the Urban Ballroom Dance Culture (UBDC), the club utilizes an established curriculum that emphasizes leading and following techniques, dance etiquette, and medium-impact movement. Beyond the physical benefits of improved flexibility, strength, balance, and endurance, participants also experience significant mental health advantages, including stress reduction, increased energy, and enhanced cognitive processes. For locals, this means having access to a unique and impactful organization that offers not just dance lessons, but a pathway to improved physical and mental well-being within a truly supportive community.

Oct 19, 2018 · Vernell MitchellI am enjoying the classes, the people and the music. This group is a nice old school crowd that I enjoy networking with. The classes will help keep me mobile with my debilitating arthritis issues and my memory issues.
