Royal Academy of Irish Dance

8400 Bellhaven Blvd STE A, Charlotte, NC 28216, USA

5.0
After seeing Riverdance in high school I knew I wanted to learn Irish Step Dancing, and managed to gain about 1 year of very basic skills in high school, and then about 2 months of random skills more than a decade later as an adult. When I moved to Charlotte I was beyond happy to find an Irish Dance Academy not only so close, but one that also did classes for adults. Alex is fantastic. The adult class is chill without pressure, but she still works with everyone so that they are meeting the goals that they want to meet. She's encouraging, supportive, and puts up with my silly questions . If you're an adult who wants to learn, or brush up on some old skills I highly recommend, and if you're an adult with a kid who wants to learn, I say you both should take classes. - Donna VanGlad
