Ensemble Performing Arts Studio Reviews
I had never taken a dance class before taking the beginner to intermediate adult class with Cailin. Right away I was welcomed and did not feel intimidated by my lack of experience, instead I started learning real technique that first day that I have been able to apply and build upon in the weeks that have followed. I loved the musical theater class so much that I have signed up for jazz and plan on doing ballet as well. So refreshing to have a class for adults that is actually technique and learning-based, in addition to being so fun and challenging. The highlight of my week- I have discovered a new love of dance!
Feb 04, 2022 · Molly ElizabethThis studio is amazing! The class offerings are excellent and the director and her entire team are wonderful. They are supportive and encouraging, while teaching the kids the hard work and responsibility needed to succeed.
Oct 25, 2024 · Rich SegaloffI hadn’t taken dance in years(since I was about five). I thought I would NEVER have good technique. Dancing for years has been the thing I’ve been not so great at. And it was something I felt super self conscious about at auditions. I thought I’d never get better. All of that changed within five weeks of taking adult dance. Thanks to Cailin, I’ve grown more confident, I don’t knock myself down after making mistakes(they happen, and sometimes add a little something jazzy to the dance), and I am not afraid of learning new steps anymore. She is such an amazing teacher and truly has a passion for what she does. She’s built up my confidence and technique in just five short weeks, and I can’t wait to take Adult Jazz and Adult Lyrical/Ballet with her!If you can, please take classes at Ensemble. I promise you won’t regret it!
Feb 04, 2022 · Jenn TegnellWhen I first started taking classes with Cailin, I was in 5th grade and I could barely tell my left from my right. I was just about ready to give up on being able to dance, as after many classes at other studios, I still wasn’t getting the hang of it. Cailin connected with my mother and had her enroll me in private dance lessons — within a year and a half, I was performing a dance solo at competition with more confidence than I ever could have imagined. The work that Cailin does with students goes so much beyond teaching them steps, and truly ingrains the importance of technique and confidence in their minds. Along with the basic principles of musical theatre, Ensemble also teaches students about theatre and audition etiquette, performing professionally, maintaining a healthy mindset, and life lessons that they can take with them into any life they choose to pursue after graduating. The environment in the studio is overwhelmingly positive and it provides a space for students of all ages to express themselves, free of judgement. This fall, I am going off to college for Musical Theatre and I can’t imagine any world in which I could have done that without the help of Cailin and the rest of Ensemble Performing Arts Studio. ❤️
Feb 04, 2022 · Emily BarnettThe BEST adult dance classes out there. Inclusive environment that encourages growth as a dancer and ensemble member. Cailin’s knowledge and attention to technique and safety is unmatched. I can not wait until I can take another class! 💜
