Encore Dance Academy, Inc Reviews
The best!!My 5 year old has been in since she's 2, and started my youngest one at 18months. They both love dance and look forward to it every week. My 5 year old has loved all her teachers, and they've all be great communicators and helping with anything I asked as a new mom to the dance mom life. Can't recommend Encore enough!
May 15, 2025 · Jackie NapoliMy niece was signed up for her first dance class through Encore and unfortunately has been excluded from participating in the group recital without reason. Our entire family was planning to attend so we are extremely taken aback by the lack of effort on the studios part to include our sweet girl. We would've really appreciated some transparency when signing up for dance classes with this studio- this was supposed to be a very positive experience as our girly enters the world of dance and it feels tainted!
Mar 25, 2025 · Whitney JeffersonHaving been a dance studio owner, dance teacher, and preschool teacher for over a span of 20 years, I had high hopes and expectations for my children’s first dance experience. I enrolled my boy/girl twins in the 18-24 month Separation Class when they were 22 months old. They had never been away from me nor in a formal group setting up until that point. Ms. Lauren was THE ABSOLUTE BEST teacher I could have hoped for to guide my little ones through the separation phase into the world of dance! Ms. Lauren’s infectious energy, enthusiasm, and obvious genuine love for kids and dance not only put me at ease, but consistently engaged my toddlers. The class structure is perfect for that age group. They combine fine and gross motor activities that are key to building a strong foundation for future dance endeavors. Separation anxiety is real and can be hard for both parent and child! However, although, it was nerve racking for us parents, it is important to let go and to trust the capable teachers and the process. The sooner, the better! As I witnessed, while watching the monitors, that the children truly thrived once they were given the space to have fun in the class on their own! Thank you Ms. Lauren, your patience, energetic spirit, and pure motherly instincts truly made our experience fantastic!

Nov 09, 2024 · Kerry & Steven ReinaIf I can give this place 0 stars I would!! My 2 year old daughter did a year in the baby and me class. I wanted to sign her up for the fall i emailed the owner Kelly asking if i can pay the registration fee. I would pay September since My daughters surgery is scheduled more towards the end of the month. It would only be October she would be out, possibly November but I'm ok with paying that one month either way. Kelly responded with she's not a millionaire and doesn't have a private jet where she can afford to hold a spot until January. I never once said January so I'm not sure where she got that from, but she went on with " I won't be able to afford my son to play hockey" it's 1 month!!! And I'm absolutely willing to pay for it all IF Kelly got on the phone with me instead of emailing and was a nice compassionate person but she's not. It's disgusting how she put her personal life into that. I gotten her a lot of business from recommending my friends and this is how I'm treated. She's all about the money. She never once met any of the babies in the class. Half of the class left to go elsewhere. Stay away from this school. Find a school where the owner cares about the children and not just look at them as a paycheck.
