Brooklyn Dance Lessons Reviews
We had such a wonderful experience with Brooklyn Dance Lessons! Alina helped us choreograph our first dance for our wedding, and we’re so glad we decided to take lessons. Over the course of 10 hours, she not only taught us the basics but also helped us feel confident and excited to perform in front of all our friends and family. Our song was a bit more upbeat than a typical first dance, but Alina crafted a routine that felt perfectly suited to us—doable, yet impressive (including a lift at the end!). The lessons were also a really fun and memorable way to spend time together in the weeks leading up to the wedding. So much better than just swaying back and forth—highly recommend!
Jun 10, 2025 · Sydney BartonWe took our wedding first dance at BKDL under Alina’s guidance. She was such a pleasure to work with for the past 8 months. Coming from zero dance experience, she introduced us to several different dance styles before we decided to do the Hustle. Her instruction and guidance were clear. Her charismatic, humorous personality was also quite easy for us to get along. We will miss you, and we wish we could do it all over again. Thank you to Svetlana, Alessandro and the rest of the staff as well.
May 03, 2025 · LeonaWe can’t recommend Brooklyn Dance Lessons enough! My wife and I had zero dance experience going into our wedding first dance prep, but the team created a simple, elegant routine for our first dance that felt natural and totally achievable. We ended up working with four different instructors, each of whom brought their own unique style and helped us build different parts of our routine step by step. It was such a fun experience and ended up being one of our favorite pre-wedding date nights. The instructors were patient, encouraging, and made the process feel relaxed and enjoyable. By the time the big day came, we felt confident and connected—and our guests were so impressed! Thank you for making our first dance such a special moment.

Our instructor, Olga, couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming, and supportive. It was our first ever dance class, so we weren’t sure what to expect — but Olga made us feel completely at ease from the start. She guided us through each step with patience, made it fun throughout, and we left with a few solid moves under our belt!Olga is a total pro. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience, she knows exactly how to tailor the session to your level and help you improve.Five stars!!Highly recommend — one of the most enjoyable things we've done together!
