I just wanted to spread the word about a hidden gem of a dance school on 3rd Avenue in Brooklyn. The place offers a wide variety of dance classes for both kids and adults and they take place in the most beautiful and aesthetic place possible. My Four-year-old daughter looks forward to her ballet classes every weekend and the teacher Alina is absolutely marvelous. Go go, Brooklyn Dance Studio!
Jun 07, 2025 · Ella AverbukhMy son did a week of ballroom dance camp here. He is an 8 year old boy who has many "typical" 8 year old boy interests, so I had no idea how it would go -- well, he LOVED IT! The performance at the end of the week was amazing. He made an effort, learned a lot, and was sad he wasn't going back the next week. He rated it infinity out of 10, and said, "the instructors are really good at explaining things." We loved the small class size, the space, and the teachers' ability to make it all so fun.
Jun 05, 2025 · Molly McIntyreFor the past few months, I’ve had the pleasure and privilege of leading family music classes in Brooklyn Dance Lesson’s beautiful boutique space and it’s been such a wonderful experience! Every Saturday morning, you’ll find our group of 8-10 families and their young children singing, dancing and playing instruments together in this bright, airy and welcoming space. Olya and Ale have created a warm and lovely atmosphere in which to create, move and celebrate. I highly recommend checking out BDL’s amazing dance offerings as well as their space rental options for parties, lessons, classes and other events. The outdoor terrace is an added bonus and is a gem of a place to host a special occasion! Highly recommend! ✨ ✨ ✨ (@musicwithtami IG)

The instructor Olga was fantastic with all the kids and made the party truly special. The party started with a warm welcome and introduction to the dance floor. Olga created a really fun and lively atmosphere that engaged all the children, from the shyest to the most outgoing. They broke down each dance move step-by-step helped all the children there feel comfortable and confident. The studio had plenty of space for the kids to move and dance around freely.Overall, Brooklyn Dance Lessons exceeded my expectations.
