- Musicality and Expression: Teaching students to connect with the rhythm and emotion of Middle Eastern music, bringing the "heart of the dance" to their movements.

Bellydance classes nyc Reviews
Gabriela is one of my favorite dance teachers. I have taken class Gabriela online for two years, and I could feel there are great improvements on my dance: she is really patient, and helps us with body awareness and isolations, which is one of the key and hardest points at the beginning of dance. If you live in New York Area, you should take Gaby’s class. You will love her class.

Mar 02, 2023 · Gloria MendozaI love dancing with Gabi! I have taken both online (past 3 years) and in-person classes with her over the past 4-5 years. Her classes are always so much fun, I love her style and energy and we always learn so much. She also pushes us when she needs to which makes her a great teacher who can help advance her students. She truly inspires me💖
Mar 02, 2023 · Sandra Sassy EmI started my bootcamp journey with Gabriela in December of last year and i’m giving this review to express my gratitude and appreciation for everything I have learned and felt. I’m really glad that I took this step for myself.I used to think that dance was more external and that to become a better dancer I would have to focus more on the technique or structures but I’ve learned in these last few months that it is more than just that. The true improvements I’m seeing are from inside out and that is really powerful for me.The techniques we focused are turns, undulations, pistons, traveling steps, shimmies and Omis. We also had a fun combo for all these movements. I’ve learned how to isolate better, to breathe, to feel balanced and to project or direct my energy into the each movement.Everything I’ve learned in Gaby’s bootcamp shifted the way I feel in my body when I’m dancing. A major improvement I experienced is that I learned to be more aware and connected to my body, my energy and how I am presenting myself as a dancer, performer, or even just a person on a mental, emotional and physical level. That’s something that I can have with me to apply to dance and also any area in life. I used to feel like I was always chasing the music when I’m dancing and now I feel like my movements, and breathing are connected to the music which makes everything more enjoyable and it flows better. If you’re thinking about joining the bootcamp experience I would highly recommend it. It has been a big part of self care for me and the girls who were in my group.
