5.0
My daughter danced with Julie for the last 2-2.5 years. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience with her and at her studio. At Ballet Rochester, students are taught classic ballet, not modernized dance. I wanted my daughter to learn the best form of ballet once she expressed her desire to dance, and we found that and more here. Class schedules are very reasonable and any changes, shows, performance opportunities, and extra classes are always communicated well in advance. Julie creates a family-like atmosphere and truly takes students under her wing to help their skills grow, while also creating relationships with them. My family has an unusual situation and Julie has always remained supportive and flexible to our needs. Seeing the way she is with all students and the respect that they have for her speaks volumes as to how she teaches and her love for ballet as well. Joining Ballet Rochester is like joining a family and the students become close. I highly recommend Ballet Rochester if you are looking for a wonderful experience for you or your student that encompasses the beautiful art of classical ballet, professionalism, dedication, and a positive family like culture. - Vivian Gardner
