Orange School-Performing Arts Reviews
Just had the pleasure of competing against OSPA this weekend. The dancers are incredibly talented, humble, and supportive of others. Their director and teachers seemed to honestly love the kids and what they were doing. They lit up the stage and were really something for our own dancers to aspire to!
Apr 06, 2025 · Windy QueenI sincerely hope things have changed at this studio since 2008. I was a student here for 10 years. I am not naturally gifted, and this studio is very elite. My experience was very emotionally abusive, and it still comes up in therapy. They yell a lot and made a point to humiliate me in front of everyone many times. I will never forget the time my instructor made me do a dance move she knew I really struggled with across the floor and then, in front of the whole class of incredible dancers who’d mostly only been dancing half as long as I had, “Haven’t you been dancing for 10 years? You should be better than me.” They certainly know what they’re doing, but you have to have a very tough spirit to survive there.
Jan 17, 2024 · kelsey papeAs a former student, I judge every studio now by Ricky's. He imbued the studio with energy and joy in dance that continues even now. This studio is a great place to spend time as a kid, and as an adult I would send my kids here over any studio in the area. I would even join for adult classes! Definitely choose OSPA for your kids and yourself!
