I love VRV3! The community is amazing and I’m happy to met so many amazing instructors and classmates over the years. My favorite classes are pole, especially Fluid and Flow and L3+ Tricks. The community is super supportive, welcoming, and fun! I specifically love Patricia’s and Vix’s classes! My biggest gripe is that the classes do not tell you in advance how filled the class is (I.E it could say XX spots out of 10 filled) before you sign up. When classes have 8+ students, I feel so overwhelmed and personally would have not come. But, it’s just a shot in the dark how full the class might be. Please consider showing the client counts!!! - Catherine Nguyen

The studio's location on Haight Street ensures excellent accessibility for San Francisco residents. VRV3 Studios offers a diverse and evolving range of classes and services, primarily focused on pole dance and aerial arts, but also incorporating other movement disciplines to cater to a broad spectrum of fitness and artistic goals:

  • Pole Dance Classes (Levels 1-6+): VRV3 provides a comprehensive pole dance curriculum, starting from Pole Level 1 (Intro), where beginners learn foundational techniques, basic spins, and terminology. As students progress, they can move through higher levels (Pole Level 2, 2/3, 3, 4, 5, and 5/6+), mastering more complex tricks, inversions, combinations, and developing fluid movement and personal style. Classes like "Fluid and Flow" and "L3+ Tricks" are highly popular, catering to specific interests within pole dance.

  • Aerial Tissu (Silks) and Aerial Hoop (Lyra) Classes: Beyond pole, VRV3 offers instruction in aerial silks and aerial hoop, allowing students to explore vertical and circular movement in a different aerial context, building strength, flexibility, and grace. Reviews highlight excellent instruction even for those with zero prior exposure to aerial arts.

  • Dance Choreography Classes: For those interested in expressive movement and performance, the studio provides dance choreography classes, enabling students to learn routines and explore different dance styles, sometimes incorporating elements of pole or aerial work.

  • Flexibility and Conditioning Classes: Recognizing the importance of a well-rounded fitness regimen, VRV3 offers classes specifically designed to improve flexibility, strength, and conditioning, which are crucial for progression in pole and aerial arts, but also beneficial for general fitness.

  • Heels Classes: For students interested in a specific style of pole dance, Intro to Heels classes are available, focusing on fundamentals for dancing on the ground with pole heels, in a "super chill and non-judgmental" environment.

  • Open Pole/Aerial Sessions: VRV3 provides "Open Pole" and "Open Aerial" hours for members to practice independently, allowing students to refine skills learned in class or work on personal routines in a supervised environment.

  • Private Classes & Group Private Classes: For personalized attention, accelerated learning, or special events like bachelorette parties, VRV3 offers one-on-one and private group classes, customized to the clients' preferences and skill levels.
