Unity Hoops Reviews
Amazing classes! I took 3 8-week classes with Unity Hoops and they were all so great. The teachers were knowledgeable and encouraging and I had so much fun. I would highly recommend to anyone. My confidence in hoop and dance went way up in just 2 months and I learned so much. I’m excited to continue to improve and learn more. Thank you for giving that to me!
Jul 09, 2019 · Devon HutchinsonValentina & Bags are amazing teachers. We are lucky to have teachers of their caliber teaching in San Diego. I started learning how to hoop via Youtube videos and realized that I wasn't progressing or getting a hold of concepts by myself. I googled San Diego Hoop Classes and found Unity Hoops. I'm a very introverted person and I actually looked at the class schedule for months before I summoned the courage to start classes. The minute I walked in, Valentina and Bags made me feel welcome and I came out of my shell! I took their Hoop Level 1 & 2 class series, their Intro to Fire Dancing series twice, their Solo Act Performance series and more. I not only progressed and found myself learning at an exponential speed, but I also became more confident as a flow artist and grew so much because of I had them as teachers :) They also offer privates lessons as well and I've gotten so much out of just one private lesson. I recommend them to anyone looking to get into the flow arts!
Sep 07, 2019 · Katrina LeeValentina and Unity Hoops are the best! Who doesn't love hooping? Support a local artist/entertainer and learn a fun way to get outside and do something fun. Hoops are great at home, at the beach, at the park, and almost always turn a frown upside down :)
Oct 18, 2011 · Megan PogodaI signed up for a class with Valentina and I had a horrible experience with her.I had trouble finding parking and was running about 5 mins late. I got to the classroom and went inside and all the girls were very quite and sitting down so I thought whew! I'm not late, I asked if this was the hooping class and a women said no then all of a sudden this lady comes at me and yells "GET OUT GET OUT!!" I was so embarrassed I went out and there were a couple of girls outside and I asked if they were waiting for the hoop class and they said yes so I waited with them. When the class that was in there started to leave I was still so embarrassed that lady yelled at me that I tried to duck and hide.We filed into the classroom, it's not air conditioned and a guy named Bags enters and says he'll be taking over the class. He was amazing and nice and patient while teaching.Come to find out.... the lady who screamed at me in the previous class WAS VALENTINA! His girlfriend or wife.I can't believe how unprofessional she was and I'm SO glad she left and her boyfriend took over the class. If she had stayed and taught the class I would of booked it the heck out of there. You really shouldn't scream at ANYONE even if they enter the wrong class... theres no signs on the door and I was late thinking the class was already in there.
