Thrive School of Dance (formerly JoAnn Fryrear School of Dance) Reviews
My experience has been absolutely AMAZING at what is now Thrive School of Dance. The staff, students, teaching, environment, and community could not be more wonderful. Thrive School of Dance feels like home. I can’t help but smile when I am there because I always feel so loved by both the students and faculty who will forever be my family. I have spent countless hours at this studio for the past 15 years and cherish every moment I have spent and will continue to spend at Thrive. Not only this, but the technique taught at this studio is top-notch. The teachers push each student to be the best they can be, and yet help to further the supportive environment at Thrive. With teachers that have performed with professional ballet companies, gotten degrees in Dance, and much more, Thrive has a plethora of educated teachers to help their students grow every year in their technique in tap, jazz, ballet, pointe work, modern, and hip hop. It is an honor to be part of such a fantastic community and I would 110% recommend Thrive School of Dance to any parent wanting their child to grow up in a community where they can learn and grow in such a loving and caring environment.
Jul 24, 2022 · Anna Claire HumphreyThere is no studio as special as Thrive. It is a loving and supportive community. The teachers and staff are committed to helping students have the best experience possible. Thrive does its best to cater to each of the dancers’ personal goals/needs. The studio is technique focused, which provides a strong foundation for dancers who want to continue dance after graduating. However, there is also a place in the studio for students who are just looking for a creative outlet in dance. I highly recommend this wonderful studio!
Jul 24, 2022 · Annie NapierI have never not loved coming to this studio. Not only are the teachers and staff extremely welcoming and loving, so are all of the dancers. I have found life long friends here and have learned so much as a dancer but also as a young adult. Thrive pays attention to detail and pushes students to their highest and greatest potential. If you are looking to strengthen your technique and are searching to be a part of a loving and supportive community then this is the perfect place for you 🤍
Jul 24, 2022 · Rachel KlotzAfter taking classes at Joann's for 10+ years, I have the studio to thank for molding me into the dancer and person I am today. The teachers are incredibly skilled and encouraging and push the dancers to be the best they can be, while also building confidence and creating a family environment. I am so grateful for all that Joann's has taught me over the years and could not recommend the studio more!
Dec 22, 2016 · Lillianne NelsonFor over 10 years JFSOD has been more than a dance studio for me, it's also been a home. Every single week I would walk into the studio knowing that I would be loved, encouraged, and accepted by my teachers and classmates, in addition to being challenged and pushed to be a better dancer. Having recently graduated from the studio I am able to look back on my time as a dancer and say that everything that I have experienced at Joann's has truly shaped me into the person I am today. Thank you Joann Fryrear School of Dance for loving me so well and for providing a safe and healthy environment for me to grow up dancing in. I love you all so much. You are such a blessing.
