Apr 07, 2022 · Kiana ParhamI have a background in ballet and was interested in trying pole as a way to utilize my existing dancing skills, as well as having an opportunity to increase my strength. An Instagram friend of mine posted about The Vertitude so I thought I would check it out!Staff at The Vertitude are extremely helpful from start to finish. Management is very responsive through Instagram or email if you need any assistance with anything.I started with the taster workshop with Desiree, which was a gentle introduction into some dancing movements as well as some basic spins on the pole. After the taster intro workshop, I immediately signed up for 101 which was taught my the studio owner Sergia. The class was fast paced, yet easy to understand. Sergia is a legitimate professional and a natural instructor. 101 focuses on floor work, dancing movements, and spins. It is a great class to build your initial technique. The taster workshop, as well as pole 101, is easily accessible to all fitness levels (or even individuals who have never worked out in their life), all body types welcome, and no prior dance experience required. I mean it! No prior requirements.I have been taking classes at The Vertitude for a year now. Apr 04, 2024 · Samantha MAbsolutely phenomenal! Amazing caring, kind, passionate instructors. Pole is for anyone no matter how physically strong you are. It helps you gain confidence and have fun. Halea and sergia are amazing instructors!
Sep 13, 2022 · Alissa HoganTook my first class at The Vertitude last night and it was fantastic! Everyone was friendly and inviting and the instructors, Hallea and Carrenne, did an excellent job of modeling each move and coaching us each step of the way.
Aug 24, 2023 · Kelly PageLife. Changing. I love it so much. You don't need to be super strong. You don't need to be in shape. You just need to show up as you are. All the teachers give you content that is JUST within reach. And it's FUN. You see what you'll be working on and you think "Oh buddy. I can't do that!" But the crazy thing is is that they teach you to ask your body. Tricks like "oh just look this way" or "just bend your knee a bit" and suddenly you're doing very cool things. I have applied what I have learned here to everything in my life. From taking in grocerys in one trip, to wading in rivers. I feel like I was just given this body. But no one has told me how to use it. The EMPOWERMENT. Let me tell you. It's insane. But the whole thing is joyous, it's fun, it's exploring, it's adventuring.
