The Little Gym of Seattle at Maple Leaf Reviews
I’ve been taking my son to The Little Gym’s parent/child classes since he was about 10 months old — before he could even walk — and now at 2 years old, I can really see how much it has helped him build strong gross motor skills and blossom with confidence. We’ve picked up some baby sign language during class, which has been surprisingly useful at home, and he’s also learned valuable social skills like putting toys away and waiting his turn — so important since he’s not in daycare.Attending these classes with him is truly the highlight of my week. Every teacher we’ve met is enthusiastic, patient, and genuinely cares about the kids. Teacher Jackie, the manager, is absolutely outstanding — she leads with warmth, keeps the energy high, and clearly pours her heart into making The Little Gym a joyful and successful place for families. She also organizes wonderful special events on the weekends.I also love how thoughtfully inclusive the environment is. We couldn’t be happier to be part of The Little Gym family!

Especially teacher Jackie..Currently I have 2 busy boys and they have come up through the classes. You can see their skills and confidence grow with each class! they are super communicative and supportive, and I highly recommend them for all ages :) such a fun space, with a huge parking lot!
Jun 11, 2025 · Heather RWe LOVE the Little Gym! We brought our (now 9 years old) kid here when he was 1.5-3 years old, and now we’ve been bringing our Twins (now 3)! There’s no other teacher like Jackie. The twins have grown so confident, strong, and independent thanks to these classes. They get so excited to work on new skills and come back to show them off. We all wish we could come to the Little Gym every day!
May 09, 2025 · Dayla BraithwaiteWe have a very active 3 year old that had never been to daycare or any class without a parent before. In funny bugs, they were so amazing about teaching him to sit in the circle, follow directions, and do the activities with the group. Before, he was more comfortable exploring and doing his own thing. Seeing him make such huge strides (without any powering struggles!) with these skills made us feel so much more confident about sending him to preschool. Highly recommend!
May 22, 2025 · Ellen ConleyI bring my 3 year old grandson to the gym. He loves it. I love that the teachers are engaged with the students. They help build good character, and when a student is off task the get them back on. This has been a great experience for us.
