Tappy Feet Reviews
I just attended my fourth “advanced beginner” class with Molly, and I couldn’t be happier! The pace is perfect. She creates a relaxed and fun environment for everyone regardless of their experience level, and I have learned something new every class! Madison, another teacher, also attends and is equal parts talented, supportive, and hilarious. If I had one complaint, it’s that I wish classes were offered twice or three times per week instead of just once a week. Thank you, tappy feet, for helping me fall back in love with this amazing art form!
Apr 24, 2025 · Caryn S.I don't know why my dad and I decided to tap dance with absolutely no experience for the father-bride dance at my wedding, but I will never forget that experience and how Tappy Feet made it perfect! We attended one group lesson with Molly, which was so fun and made us feel comfortable as beginners. Madison then choreographed our dance for us and taught us during a one-hour private lesson, which was a great value. While learning the choreography, she helped us to add our own personalities into the dance, and everything went perfectly on the day of the wedding. I cannot thank the Tappy Feet team enough and will cherish those memories with my father for a lifetime!
Jan 05, 2025 · Courtney SI have been going to Tappy Feet classes for over a year now. It is so much fun while getting a good work out for both my body and my brain. I love that there are no performances. It takes away the pressure and allows me to just enjoy learning the routines and adding new steps to my repertoire.Molly is a great teacher. In her classes there is a little something for everyone - opportunities to challenge yourself if you want to, or get a little extra attention if you need it.No matter what your tap experience is, there is a fun Tappy Feet class that is right for you!
Oct 02, 2024 · Holly NewcombTAPPY FEET... THANK YOU!!! For an hour, once or twice a week I get to dive in, focus, concentrate, and learn in a way I haven't done in years! In a really good way, I get lost in your classes, and get to exercise my brain and my feet and enjoy small achievements each time I learn something new! Molly Dyer is a great instructor! Her enthusiasm for tap is contagious and makes a difference! The business model is built for adults. There is no commitment, instead, casual drop-ins, turn into a really good time. You can miss a week or two or even three... then, you just pick up when you drop back in. I really appreciate it... all of it. If you're looking for something new, try tap! It is a lot of fun!
Aug 08, 2024 · Jeff NazzaroI have to say, I have only had a fantastic and positive experience! I'm an adult and knew absolutely nothing about tap dancing, so I showed up to the beginner class and had a fantastic time!Molly is a great teacher who is super patient, and makes sure to answer any questions you have, we can go through the steps as fast or as slow as we need.(As someone with ADHD I really appreciate being able to repeat sections or relearn a step I missed or forgot, so it's a good class for neurodivergent learners!)Something I really appreciate is the really positive fun atmosphere where we can laugh at ourselves and not take ourselves too seriously so we can learn new steps with no pressure! (Which is how I learn best)I also like how we practice to both old and new songs so we can learn about the roots of tap dancing as well as new styles and fun ways to shake it up, so it never gets boring! So if you're somebody whose always wanted to try tap dancing but have been self conscious or daunted at the thought of learning a new skill, this is the class for you!Plus the classes are super affordable, they have tap shoes you can use so don't worry about buying your own if you just wanna give it a try, there's no long term commitments and if you miss a class, it's no big deal, it's just a show up when you can sort of thing! So trust me I'd you want to learn tap, or just want a super fun activity to get you out of the house for an hour every Wednesday or Thursday, this tap class is for you!(Literally the only criticism I can think of is that sometimes it's a challenge to find parking nearby because it's a busy area,) but other than that, 10/10!
