Been working with her for a little over 2 years and she still always gives me a workout (mental, physical, or both)." It is important to acknowledge that a diverse range of experiences can occur within any business. While the majority of feedback for Swing State Aerial is overwhelmingly positive, focusing on the quality of instruction and inclusive environment, one review regarding a teacher training program highlighted issues with promised materials and communication post-training. This specific feedback, while not related to the general aerial classes, serves as a reminder for any prospective student or trainee to clarify all aspects of a program, including materials and refund policies, before committing. However, the consistent positive remarks about the core aerial classes and Mackenzie's teaching style remain a strong indicator of the quality of their primary offerings.

Swing State Aerial Reviews
SSA teaches all levels of aerial silks, sling, and dance trapeze in an inclusive and accessible way. Dec 11, 2021 · Anna TiffeyTeacher training was okay for absolute teaching beginners. Mackenzie is very knowledgeable when it comes to modifying aerial tricks, and I appreciate some of the things she taught me. Unfortunately, I paid for materials (books) that were not sent to me at all and was promised a partial refund for any materials I didn’t want/already had. Throughout the teacher training, I asked about these materials and was told that she would be sending them soon, however, I was not asked for any information to send said materials, and I did not receive any updates on when I would be able to expect them. After the teacher training ended, I sent numerous emails, called a few times, and even messaged via Instagram which was where we primarily communicated. Within these messages, I included screenshots of her stating I would be eligible for a partial refund, a list of said materials, links to them, and their prices, which amount to nearly $200. She has been active on social media but has yet to respond to any of my messages, emails, or calls. I’ve given her MONTHS to respond, and plenty of time between each message. While the teacher training was okay, I paid $200 for books that I didn’t get.
Nov 04, 2024 · Makaiya BrielleI have been taking aerial silks, sling, and dance trapeze classes from Swing State Aerial for over a year! It has been the most fun and rewarding experience and the highlight of my week every week! From the very first class the culture is nothing but positive and welcoming to everyone, and this studio specializes in teaching to all body types and ability levels. The instructors always demonstrate and explain every step of the way and are more than willing to offer extra help until you're comfortable and confident! I would highly highly recommend that everyone come take classes here, you don't have to have any upper body strength to start. A little tip: I recommend aerial sling as a starting point, you can get on and make cool shapes, get great photos, and feel accomplished and from lesson one!
Jan 26, 2024 · Katie OlsonI've taken quite a few classes with Mackenzie and it's just great. She has an amazing way of making silks accessible even to people like me who never thought they'd be capable of it. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for a great, supportive place to learn and grow!
Sep 11, 2021 · Miriah Schwartzing over rules and liability which is an expensive way to repeat what I had already signed. At one point I needed to attend another class. She texted me the incorrect time and would not refund the 30 dollars. I highly recommend trying aerial silks, but maybe try a different instructor.
