Studio S Broadway Academy of Dance Reviews
This place is just okay. Parking is convenient in the back alley, and it’s a short drive from my home, so getting here is easy. We attend the 5pm ballet class on Mondays, but it almost always starts at 5:05pm because the previous class runs late, sometimes even until 5:10pm. I've been trying to subtly express my frustration about this for the past month, but the front desk staff doesn’t seem to understand why I don’t want to pay for time I’m not using. One of the ladies on Monday mentioned that the clock outside is fast and that the previous class does end on time (which is debatable). When I suggested adjusting the clock, she declined, saying, “No, that’s okay.” Why keep a clock that isn’t accurate? So strange.

Aug 11, 2022 · Eva VasilevaThere is beginner friendly Bachata Open Classes on Wednesdays 8pm. It's great to have dinner and come learn a fun partner dance and develop a new skill and hobby while getting some exercise!
Oct 11, 2023 · Sandra ChaoI recently did a trial adult class at Studio S Broadway, and it was a lot of fun and full of energy. It felt safe and welcoming with no judgement (which is different than a lot of studios I've been to in my past). Sam was a great instructor, and I definitely recommend checking out Studio S Broadway. I left feeling energized while being physically tired from dancing, and I hope to be back.
Sep 14, 2021 · Elizabeth MuscoUpdate: just got a call from the studio and the last I don't to was very pleasant and made me feel better about this situation.I'm going to start this off with my fault: I was late. There's a pandemic happening and I don't get out too much with my 25 month old twins. I got here, and realized I can't turn onto the street, I struggled to find parking and rushed to the studio with my twins. I get there and the door is locked. I knocked a few times and the instructor inside just stared at me! Didn't walk towards the door, didn't signal what to do. So I'm just standing outside looking in, thinking she'll come in a minute. It was clear that they were taking a little break. No music on, no dancing, a bit of "good job" and general talking happening. I waited a full minute and then she decides to put the music on and go back to dancing. I walked away, and called... No answer. Now put yourself in my shoes. Twins, no help, rushing to get there, and they didn't even have the courtesy to tell me "you can't come in because it's too late."I will never give my business to a place that stressed me out like this and then made me feel like a a piece of garbage waiting outside. In the future, this studio should tell people the parking situation when the street is closed to cars. Not everyone knows this! I'm seriously upset. I just couldn't believe how cruel they were. How do you ignore people who are enrolled, especially when you a see a mom with two small toddlers outside your doors. This is not professional!
