Academy of American Ballet Reviews
I feel incredibly blessed to have both my daughters attend American Academy of Dance in Redwood City. My oldest daughter has been a dancer there for the past six years. We tried a different dance program for a few months prior to coming here and couldn’t believe the difference when we started here, specifically the supportive environment, structured program, and artistic approach. Although my daughter is shy and introverted, she found in this incredibly supportive environment that she could express herself artistically. My daughters are being taught in a structured environment with proper technique. You feel the history of dance and ballet is respected in this school. My daughters are valued for their own abilities. We used to live relatively close to this school; three years ago, we moved a good distance away. Given what the school has done for my daughters, not just in terms of dance but also in terms of supporting their self esteem and emotional growth, we will continue to drive the distance for them to continue to attend this school.

They cheer each other on and really put effort into caring for and mentoring the younger committed dancers. I’m so grateful for this studio and the sweet role it has played in my daughter’s life!

Thank you to this studio for celebrating each individual dancer, bringing out their best, and welcoming the community in a seasonal Nutcracker production like no other. We will always be a supporter.
