Romance And Dance - Inglewood Campus Reviews
The studio is beautiful the lady signing you in is very nice up front I did the 10 classes I highly recommend you go with coach Peppa she is very kind , professional and knows how to talk to people. If you do the 10 classes you have to finish within 30 days of purchase , due to this I had to work with two other very RUDE instructors. Lollipop was very rude she allowed women who were in the class and knew her dance reunion take up the new people's time and mind you we only get a hr to learn and entire routine 馃檮馃ぃ. She says things like "if this your first class and you can't get it OH WELL I'm moving on " Then there's anice another rude a$$ instructor! If it's your first class don't go w these too alot of women vouch of them because i.g they been there while but being rude to first timers unacceptable in my opinion she says things like "what are you doing you suck " who taught you that " Peppa never once came at me side ways because of her I would definitely be back wish I had a better experience with my own kind but that's why they are in Inglewood
Apr 08, 2025 路 Ciaa BrownFun studio for pole dance classes. My friend and I both bought Groupons for 5 classes and have taken classes for the freshman pole. The freshman classes are still more advanced for those who have only taken less than 5 (or no) previous pole classes, but as long as you let the instructor know, they can give you some basic skills to learn. They use mindbody and making reservations online is easy. Free parking lot available. There鈥檚 13 poles that do spin. You must bring your own mat. Cubbies are available. I especially enjoyed Candy Cane鈥檚 freshman pole class, as she pushed us to do our best and taught a fun little routine that we performed at the end of class. Heels are optional. Don鈥檛 wear lotion to class.
May 26, 2024 路 Shanelle SIn general, my training experience here was good. I availed a Groupon deal for 10 classes.Pros: The deal was fantastic and I highly recommend it for beginners. The studio offers convenient parking slots, and there are plenty of fast-food options nearby for when you need a quick bite after a session. They are quite accommodating when it comes to late-morning rush hour traffic. I absolutely adore Levi!! She works as an admin and also joins the classes, bringing so much joy to the sessions.Cons: I deducted one star due to safety concerns. The poles are placed quite close together, leading to accidental kicks and bumps from other students and the hoop. Additionally, there's only one crash mat, and it's tiny. I ended up falling face down accidentally and bruised my kneecap. However, if you're doing beginner tricks with spotting, there's no need to worry. Here are some personal opinions that may not apply to all students: The RND studio has its own graduation system, where students keep track of their progress in a pole Pictionary book, and they can participate in a graduation showcase after mastering each trick/move. I didn't take part in it because I'm not interested in performing. However, I must mention that all the pole dance classes are geared towards beginners, with instructors focusing on each student's individual goals, resulting in a pick-a-trick format. Nevertheless, I hope the studio considers introducing intermediate pole trick classes and provides more reasonable crash mats, as I'm truly impressed by their teachers. Another thing to be aware of is that some instructors only allow filming during the last 5 minutes of the class. Keep that in mind when planning to record your sessions.
Jul 31, 2023 路 Kelly FairleyEnjoyed the classes!! Good experience overall but I purchased a 10 class pass and didn't see the 30 day limit on it so at the time I only got to use 3 and couldn't get it extended. :(Edit: I continued to come here and ran into different issues every time, none of which were intuitive nor entirely unavoidable after trying to be hyper vigilant (through scouring the fine print, figuring out the poorly laid out website, double and triple checking with employees, etc.) Poor communication and continuity throughout the business. I still wasn't able to use several classes I purchased on multiple occasions and got a lot of added stress from trying other options. Even though the studio is about an hour away from me during rush-hour, I tried to make it work several times because this is the only studio I've found that offers affordable deals (which I appreciate!), and some of the classes I really enjoy. Overall I just feel disappointed that I can't reliably make it worthwhile to come with all the surprise issues and not easy to sort out. (And some of the rules I just don't like, like if I left and gave myself 60-65 minutes to get there but a traffic accident happens and it takes me 80 minutes, which already is awful, then I get double charged and not allowed to enter the class. I understand why the rules are there and why you can't register and not show up with no consequence and don't encourage people showing up late...but that just sucks) Occasionally people are really nice and understanding and work it out, but sometimes they aren't and it's not worth the risk. And sometimes the classes are great but sometimes they are not worth the drive and I would be really upset if I paid the $30 for it. I hate being negative and I really appreciate some of the instructors and I felt pretty welcome, that's why I hate to leave a negative-neutral review and maybe I'll clean it up later, I just avoided saying anything before too because 1. I was hoping it would get better and there wouldn't be issues (especially if I was paying closer attention) 2. Was worried if I brought anything up that I wouldn't be welcomed back. :/I haven't been back in a little while but I really miss a lot of the people and the opportunity to learn.
Sep 06, 2024 路 Lisa RI absolutely love this studio!!! 馃挏 I鈥檒l add a longer review soon, one that I wrote for Carson鈥檚 page. Thank you 鈽猴笍 馃檹馃徏
