Richens/Timm Academy of Irish Dance Reviews
My girls have been dancing here for close to five years. We started with a post-St. Patrick's Day 8 week course and the amount of progress they made in that time was incredible. We've been so happy with the quality of the teachers (John, Heather, and Alanda) and their commitment to working with each dancer on their own personal dance journey whether that's just for recreation or international competition.
Oct 16, 2024 · Jesse FuhrmanRichens/Timm is Columbus's oldest Irish Dance academy. They are a fantastic and CLASSY dance school - they are wonderful with the kids and their dedication to this sport is perfectly balanced - they have the expertise to take your son or daughter all the way to World Champion and yet they're grounded enough to know they're teaching children who have lives outside of Irish Dance. They won't burn out kids driving them into the ground to be world champions - they rely on each individual to go as far as they desire. Whatever your goals are in the world of Irish Dance, everything from casual exercise all the way to World Champion, this school will give you what you exactly what you want and need. They truly care about their kids' well-being. They will make a kid sit out if they're hurt. They'll rein in us crazy dance moms when we need it. They'll push a kid just enough to be their best but not so much that they get hurt or burn out. They know their dancers so well - they absolutely know the difference between when a kid is stressed out and it's too much vs. when a dancer needs to be pushed a little to do their best.Richens/Timm is classy, balanced, traditional yet modern, with fantastic and dedicated teachers, and I'm so grateful we found this school and sport for my child!
