Play Studios Reviews
I have been dancing for over 20 years and Janelle’s choreography is one of my favorites! Her unique style and her authenticity shines and makes each class fun. The Play Hard community is supportive, welcoming, and kind and I am so thankful to have found PHH.
Apr 04, 2024 · Ashley MathewsThis company is unmatched! It’s unique and gives aspiring dancers an incredible foundation for any dreams. There’s performances, photo shoots, gigs, team bondings, and a great community. Every dancer is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel at home. The support and encouragement makes you be able to push yourself and try out new things! I’m so grateful I can be apart of an amazing team!
Feb 16, 2024 · tessa johnsonThis is a great dance studio on the second floor of the corner area (I don’t think they have a formal sign yet but there is a pilates sign then the “let’s play” lights at the top of the stairs in case you get lost at first like me). There are talented teachers like Rebecca and Christian that teach beginner classes and are patient and explain modifications for moves. They have a videographer for some of the night sessions and it levels up the experience. Beyond dance, they also have group exercises. Janelle who founded this place is also understanding and sweet - especially even after i had tech issues with mindbody app. There are a lot of professionals/more advanced dancers that come here but just keep showing up and trying to learn. Wishing them all the success!

I’ve grown so much as a dancer in a short amount of time here. I especially love the positive atmosphere & sense of community that each class provides. Janelle is a passionate, talented, and committed teacher who will continue to push you as a dancer! I highly recommend trying some classes out!
Apr 08, 2024 · Alexandra ListerJanelle has opened so many doors so so many dancers, not just in expansion of dance repertoire but also career and performance gigs, industry knowledge, and better understanding of the dance as a professional. I love having class and rehearsal every week and find that even with a busy schedule it is easy and relieving to go to class. We have so much fun and the community is incredibly supportive.
