Down to earth ballet studio with the most family friendly and inclusive attitude. Mr. Valeri is loved by all.
Jun 06, 2025 · Diane LarsenMy kid has loved the teaching here since the 1st day when she was 4 years old. The teachers are sweet with the little ones, getting them to laugh, yet also encouraging them to learn real classical ballet. All the parents I've talked to also seem very happy with the way the teachers interact with the kids. The teachers are retired Russian professional ballet dancers and grandparents. I think it's a great combination for a teacher. It's nice that they keep rehearsals totally separate from classes. Then your kid doesn't feel bad if they aren't in the recital. If you decide to do the recital, I think you will get the best value for your money compared to other dance schools. Costume is not an extra charge and there is a lot of rehearsal time included, which has value as it's own learning experience. The recitals are an awesome experience for the children here because they are full ballet productions, the kids do a significant amount of dancing per their age range, and your kid will learn to do the choreography without being coached through the entire performance by the teacher. The only drawbacks are communication is sometimes last minute, especially as show time draws near due to English not being the teachers first language. But it has been so worth it, and thanks to the efforts of parents loyal to this studio, the messages do get to the other parents. And because rehearsals are not part of class, the time commitment can be quite significant on the part of the parents, students, and the teachers. Still worth it.

The instructors are former professional ballet dancers from Russia, who are extremely friendly and very professional. Anyone from beginner to professional can get a lot out of the adult class. Fabulous for the younger students as well!
