McNulty School of Irish Dance Reviews
The McNulty Irish Dancers danced at our daughter's wedding reception and they were the highlight of the wedding reception! Our daughter danced with McNulty for 14 years and couldn't wait to have the girls dance at her wedding! My daughter enjoyed dancing the treble reel with the girls and even had her husband get up and try the jig. It was a wonderful to have McNulty as part of her special day.
Oct 21, 2019 · PJ StefOur daughter has been dancing with McNulty for a little over a year now. It has been an incredibly enriching experience for her, from the friends she has met, the places she has visited and the performances she has attended. The school is run by Barbara McNulty and has multiple locations across Illinois and Iowa.
Mar 05, 2013 · Michael HoffmanThe teacher does not allow parents in the class to watch, does not provide video (despite promising too nearly every week), thereby providing no way for parents to help their child improve, which I found sort of annoying, but no big deal, I figured, it is not a competitive activity at this level so no biggie. But, then she divided the class based on skill, with no warning whatsoever and in total contradiction to the class description. Even before this, it was the consensus among the parents that the teacher (Eilleen McNulte) can, at best, be described as brash, cold and unfriendly. Certainly not the sort of warm personality one typically finds teaching dance to preschoolers. After months of classes, she provided 0 feedback or encouragement, and would rarely even offer a smirk. At her worst, she is positively rude, uncaring and nasty. Clearly in it to get your money and not for any love of children or desire to provide them an enriching experience. Save your money and go elsewhere-- this woman honestly has no business interacting with children. I have never had a complaint about any preschool program or teacher, but my awful experience with this woman has compelled me to warn others. She made very derogatory and insulting comments directly to my 4 year old daughter and excluded her from her classmates. I expect this thing if I willingly engage in a competitive activity, but I was blindsided by this as the program was described as introductory and noncompetitive. To describe her behavior as unprofessional is an understatement. Save your money and spare your toddler/preschooler this woman's abuse.
